RECHARGE!How do you recharge? Is it with coffee, a book, a trip to the beach? For

Wahl Educator Anthony Barmer, the answer is teaching. But no matter

how you refi ll your tank, he’s encouraging you to do more of it. “Staying

stylist is fresh off a recharge trip to Russia, where he taught a course

called American Barbering. For this class he relied on his favorite tool,

time,” he explains. Favorite technique? Gradation. “If you want to clipper

cut, you need a strong core technique that can work on any clipper cut;

that’s what the gradation technique gives you,” enthuses Barmer.
