PPC Thesis Format
1. Use only A4 size paper and use only one side of each page.
2. Use the following margin settings for the thesis:
Top: 4.0 cm Bottom: 2.5 cm
Left: 4.0 cm Right: 2.5 cm
3. The size of each figure and table in your thesis must fit within the above margins.
4. Font size throughout the thesis should be:
a. Times New Roman 12 (for English Text)
b. AngsanaUPC 16 (for Thai Text—Abstract)
5. Line spacing throughout the thesis should be:
a. 1.5 line spacing (for English Text)
b. 1 line spacing (for Thai Text)
6. Do not show page numbers on the following pages:
a. The Cover Page
b. The thesis Acceptance Page
c. The first page of TABLE OF CONTENTS
d. The first page of each CHAPTER
e. The first page of REFERENCES
f. The first page of APPENDIX (if any)
7. Page numbers must be positioned in the top right corner of the page and be in the same
font and size for the whole thesis.
8. The page following the cover page (un-numbered) should be the thesis acceptance page
(also un-numbered).
Then comes the thesis ABSTRACT, in ENGLISH, having the page number iii.
The next page is the ABSTRACT, in THAI, having the page number iv.
The next page is ACKNOWLEDGEMENTS, page number v.
Then the TABLE OF CONTENTS page, page vi (and possibly vii), the first page being
un-numbered.
Continuing with Roman page numbering, the order of pages is then the LIST OF
TABLES, the LIST OF FIGURES, and finally the ABBREVIATIONS and LIST OF
SYMBOLS (if any).
9. Use Roman numerals for numbering each chapter, e.g. CHAPTER IV
10. The last page of the thesis is the CURRICULUM VITAE page (numbered).
