POWsFederal Prisons. To visit Federal prisoners, you must first be approved byfilling out a form that the prisoner must send you in advance. Only people whosay they had a relationship to a federal prisoner prior to their imprisonment canbe approved. Usually, the prison will not approve people who say they visit otherprisoners. Once you complete and mail the form to the prisoners counselor, theprisoner will tell you if you have been approved or denied.

State Prisons. Some state prisons require you to be placed on an approvedvisitors list but most do not. Contact the state prisoner you want to see andhave them fill you in on the procedures of the particular prison they are held.Some state prisoners may receive food packages. Check with the prisoner forrestrictions on what they can receive.

Before visiting any prisoner, write to them, be considerate and send a postalmoney order made payable to the prisoners name and number so they can buy stampsto reply. (most prisons DO NOT allow you to send stamps). Ask all questionsthrough the mail before your visit. Ask about visiting days/hours, dress codes,maximum number of vistors allowed per visit, about getting photos of your visit,and anything else you can think of. You wont be allowed to visit withoutpresenting a valid photo ID like a drivers license or county ID. Bring smallbills or change for the vending machines in the visiting room.

It is crucial to not forget our fellow revolutionaries who are sitting in jail.They have made a huge, selfless sacrifice and now they are paying the price forit. Show your support by writing letters, donating money to their commissary orlegal defense and simply showing your support for direct action.

LUCA BONVICINILuca Bonvicini was arrested in Paris in March 2013 after two months on the run.He is accused of involvement in four arson attacks targeting the meat and dairyindustries that took place in Italy in late 2012, including the December 31action in which 8 trucks belonging to a dairy company were destroyed.Luca has been extradited to Italy. Please check back for updates.Note: Two other individuals have been arrested in connection with the arsons, atleast one of whom has links to fascist groups. Bite Back has been assured that

Luca does not follow authoritarian and discriminatory ideologies.

BRAULIO ARTURO DURAN GONZALESBraulio Arturo Durn was arrested in September 2010 and is accused of involvementin a series of attacks against banks and other targets. He is being held at thestate correctional facility in Len awaiting sentencing. Braulio is vegan.

ADRIAN MAGDALENO GONZALESArrested in February 2010 and accused of detonating a butane gas bomb in an emptysubway car in Mexico City's Taxquea station. Adrian is held in Mexico City'sSanta Marta Acatitla prison. He is also accused of using gas canisters in anexplosion at a Banamex bank in September 2009 in Mexico City's Milpa Altaborough, and of involvement in actions claimed by the Frente de Liberacin Animal[Animal Liberation Front]. In June 2010, his sentence was increased to 7 yearsand 11 months. Adrian is vegan.
