Powertekk Nordic TileSteel roof covering

Isola Powertekk is a steel based, light weightroof covering system designed to provide anattractive and economic finish for all types ofroofs down to 8° pitch. The Isola PowertekkNordic tile is manufactured from cold rolled,galvanized steel and weighs only 7.7 kg/m². Thesteel thickness combined with the Nordic profileprovides superior strength and stability of thetiles.

Isola Powertekk can be installed at alltemperatures likely to be met in roofing works.However at temperatures below 0°C extracare is required, particularly when drivingnails and cutting and bending tiles. On roofpitches above 8° there shall as a minimum beinstalled a breather membrane designated foruse in supported and unsupported pitched roofapplications, including warm, hybrid and coldroofs. Counterbattens and battens  30 x 50 mmare recommended. Other dimensions may beused according to local regulations and goodpractice. Standard flashings are made to fit 30mm high battens. Where the rafters are widelyspaced, the dimension of the tile battens shouldbe chosen accordingly to comply with localregulations for load bearing capacity. Please notethat the maximum width of the batten is 65 mm.Installation should be done from ridge to eaves,starting with the second horisontal row from theridge, which will be the first row of full tiles.
