Stage 1 Evacuation
Office trigger fire panel to evacuate KS2 (1,2,3, sound alarms)
Office notify KS1 that it is KS2 only
KS2 evacuate to playground. Any KS1 returned to KS1 with adult
Alarm raised in KS1. Staff inform office Alarm raised in KS2
Gate key taken by office
Staff collect fire register from classroom door
Assemble on KS2 playground, in class order, youngest nearest the field
Silent lines, register is taken. If all present, raise clipboard in the air
If a child is missing, staff member liaises with SERT to inform emergency services
If alarm is raised in KS1, SERT decide if KS2 evacuation needed.Member of SERT to contact Forest School Lead
Brinklow.Children escorted to grass outside church
Early Birds.Children escorted to church entrance
SERT team = Exec Head, Head of School, Assistant Head, Business Manager
Early Birds evacuate into church entrance
SERT ring eco class. ‘Stage 3-stay inside’ or ‘Stage 3 – evacuate’
Phone call received. Office elict as much info as possible (which site?) SERT informed
SERT contacts relevant sites to order stage 2 evacuation
Fire alarm set off Emergency services contacted
Member of SERT on playground to direct to relevant point
Monks Kirby evacuate to Newnham Paddox gateBrinklow evacuate into church
Registers taken. SERT informed of any missing children
SERT to decide if parents contacted
Staff report intruder to office. Immediately inform SERT
Office lock glass screen, blinds down & move to safety in the school
SERT decide whether to evacuate or hide
SERT ring emergency services
SERT visit each class ‘Stage 3-stay inside’ or ‘Stage 3-evacuate’SERT ring infants. ‘Stage 3-stay inside’ or ‘Stage 3– evacuate’
If ‘stay inside’ close doors/windows/blinds.Hide under desks & remain STILL and SILENT until further instruction givenIf ‘evacuate’ refer to Stage 1 or 2 procedure
