Challenges facing US Petro Market Benefits for Petro Locations WannLynx is the Right Solution
• Pumps must be upgraded to
accept EMV (“chip cards”) by
2020;
• Total fuel sales will be flat or slowly
shrink for the next 2+ decades as
population growth is
counterbalanced by gas vehicles
becoming more efficient and the %
of electric vehicles steadily
growing;
• Smaller chains make 3-5 cents per
gallon;
• Customers are demanding
conveniences; their loyalty and in-
store sales are important for Petro
locations to compete and survive.
Market Opportunity for Petro Market with WannLynx
• Maximize the average 4-6 minutes that
customers are “captive” filling their gas
tanks;
• Drive more in-store sales with coupons,
ads, promotions and shopping carts at
the pump;
• Add an additional revenue source - 3rd
party ads/videos or the sale of nearby
movies, amusement parks or events
(concert, sporting);
• Strengthen customer loyalty by delivering
content useful to them
(ads/coupons/rewards) they value;
• Reduce risk and chargeback losses with
a secure, EMV solution that easily
integrates alternate payments to reduce
interchange fees.

How it Works
● The FuelLynx communicates with the
forecourt controller
● All requests flow through the FuelLynx
● The IP connection between the
terminal and controller is broken and
messages flowing between the two
are monitored
● Customized screen content is
managed and sent from the FuelLynx
● The FuelLynx, PCI PA-DSS compliant
and certified to payment hosts, can
also provide secure payments
WannLynx Solution is easily inserted between the pump and controller

Control/Customize the Storyboard for Each Location
Screen flow, created through macros, is easily set up and can be unique per location/pump
• Easily brand each screen with the chain’s logo –
maximizing brand awareness
• Control what screens are shown (can vary by date,
region/chain/store/pump)
• Control order of the screens –as simple as dragging icons
in QuikLynx. For example, move up car wash screens
during winter and modify to include ice/salt solutions
• Integrate smartphones/SMS as part of the storyboard

QuikLynx – Store Management
Tracks all merchants, locations, FuelLynx devices, terminals and users. Assists in deployment, configuration, inventory control, device management, storyboard flexibility
(look, screens, flow) and order of screens, reporting and firmware upgrades.
Device Management – QuikLynx manages and monitors the
inventory, deployment, configuration and firmware upgrades of
all FuelLynx devices. Upon installation, FuelLynx units establish
connections back to QuikLynx and set up parallel processes
that can be triggered by events or timers on periodic intervals:
polls (tracks units through keep-alives), diagnostics (logs every
hour for troubleshooting) and statistics.
Storyboards – The user controls the content of the pump
terminal using macros (a sequence of computing instructions to
display screen images on the payment terminal). QuikLynx
allows users to customize what will be shown on the screen as
well as the order and timing. Each macro state represents a set
of tasks/commands and a step in the process flow. A user has
the ability to create macro states and determine what happens
at each step by entering instructions into the description box.
User Management – QuikLynx provides different layers of
device access and management depending on the type of user
(administrator, jobber, brand, advertiser). It can control access
to FuelLynx devices in the field. It provides security audit logs
of all activities by user. Alerts can be established for particular
users to be notified when there is a failure or particular activity
(e.g., transaction limited exceeded).

QuikLynx – Activity Management

location, transaction statistics are captured at the pump
and relayed to QuikLynx, including the sale amount and
number of transactions. Presented in a way for analysis
and action. It can be sorted by store(s), date and time.
Detailed Sales – trends by core area, such as
preauthorization, final, refund, void and store sale. Detail
such as card type, truncated card number, amount,
authorization code and lane is available.
Campaign Reports – details on campaign activities are
available for viewing by store(s), date and time. It can be
downloaded for detailed analysis.
Inventory Reports – QuikLynx tracks devices as they
move from WannLynx to partner to store. Store(s) can
monitor their inventory. A US map can be filtered by
region, state, city or a particular location.
All the information from the store(s) in one easy-to-read location. It is designed with the needs of the store manager, chain or jobber in mind

QuikLynx – Campaign/Profile Management
The average customer spends approximately 320 seconds at the pump, providing an ideal
opportunity to display targeted messages to a captive audience. With QuikLynx, you can easily
create, customize and manage campaigns which can be interactively displayed on the pump screen
Campaigns – 4 types are currently available: videos, graphic
ads, coupon carts and shopping cart campaigns. Campaign
libraries are inventories of all items available for store(s) to use.
Items for shopping and coupon carts are uploaded from store
merchandise (includes name, image, price, description, MSRP
and PLU codes). Ads/videos can be for in-store items or from 3rd
parties with each ad generating revenue for the store between
$3-20 CPM (cost per thousand impressions) . Every campaign is
assigned tags/key words which are used to target a particular
type of transaction. Campaign items are grouped into blocks; the
order and duration of blocks are easily customizable.
Cardholder Profiles – QuikLynx collects and analyzes details on
cardholders to determine their preferences. Personas are
created grouping customers with similar characteristics.
Cardholder data currently includes name, type of payment,
previous purchase information and loyalty information. With time
this can include tokens from credit cards as well as artificial
intelligence for predictive modelling. Campaign blocks are used
to target customer personas. Targeting campaigns to the needs
and desires of particular customer profiles dramatically increases
the campaign’s success and the store’s revenue. See the video at:

Partnerships
WannLynx has a
unique value
proposition for several
parts of the industry
• Mobile Commerce Platforms - P97 targets convenience and fuel marketers such as Shell, Cumberland Farms, Phillips
66 with white label mobile apps for payments, digital marketing, loyalty, alternative payments. Integrating these apps
with WannLynx enhances their usage and boasters consumer enrollment in these offerings. We have signed an
agreement with P97 to resell our solution.
• Security Infrastructure – TNS is an industry leader in security and firewall services for retailers. TNS recently announced
(http://wannlynx.com/wpcontent/uploads/2019/10/TNS-WannLynx-Press-Release-.pdf) they will co-market our solution.
• Service Providers and Installers - PDI/Wildco PES/CBE – PDI is a “backroom software” package used by a large portion
of the Petro market. PDI, Wildco PES and CBE are well-established and extremely interested in partnering with us,
most likely as a reseller or referral partner.
• Payment Processors – we are certified to First Data RapidConnect for magstripe and working on EMV. We have
obtained specifications and in queues for other processors We currently have a referral agreement with First Data
which we will negotiate to include c-stores.
• Point of Sale/Pump Manufacturers – The dominant providers of pump and pump controller technology in the US
(Gilbarco, Wayne, Verifone) do not appear to be working on the type of functionality that we are creating. We have had
amiable discussions with all these organizations and expect to partner with them.
