Several studies have confirmed its benefits in this regard.* These herbs, among others, address anxiety in a natural, safe way. DRAGONTREE MELANCHOLY FORMULA We believe there are several mechanisms that can be involved in a low mood, including being depleted, stagnation of energy and/or fluids, digestive imbalance, and phlegm accumulation. This potent tincture is a highly sophisticated blend of herbs chosen specifically for their effectiveness and their synergistic actions. * Dr. Peter Borten has spent over a decade treating patients with mood disorders and researching the most useful plants to treat them. A few of the powerful herbs in this 16 herb tincture are: Albizzia flower – this flower comes from a tree known as “collective happiness tree.” It soothes and lifts the mind.* Lily bulb – this nourishing herb is used to treat melancholy, especially when there is also some agitation and/or disturbed sleep.* Magnolia bark – used to move “stuck energy” especially when there is tightness in the chest, an uneasy feeling, or poor appetite. DRAGONTREE WEIGHT LOSS FORMULA We believe in the Chinese medical explanation of why people gain excess body weight. This theory is that excess body fat is an expression of dampness or phlegm, which is an accumulation of material that isn’t beneficial to us and is difficult to get rid of. Kind of like the phlegm we get in our lungs when we are sick. This buildup happens for a few reasons: weak or obstructed digestion, pent up emotions, and stagnant energy. Dragontree’s potent weight loss tincture is a highly sophisticated blend of herbs, chosen specifically for their effectiveness and their synergistic actions to: • Promote energy and blood circulation to keep new body fat from forming.* • Rectify and strengthen digestive function.* • Enhance absorption of the nutrients of our food.* • Break down fat.* It’s easy to use – just take 2 to 3 droppers in water or straight up, 2 to 3 times a day to revitalize your metabolism and promote weight loss.* These are four of the 15 powerful ingredients: Gynostemma – traditionally used in Asian medicine to strengthen digestion and build energy, it is now used to support cardiovascular health and to support healthy metabolism by lowering blood sugar.* Chinese hawthorn berry – used to optimize digestion of heavy foods and promote metabolism of fat.* Lotus leaf – traditionally used in Asian medicine to support weight loss.* White Atractylodes – a major herb used to strengthen digestive function while simultaneously promoting the elimination of residues of poorly digested food.*

Ingredients: lotus leaf, bitter orange, hawthorn, gynostemma, alisma, white atractylodes, poria, ecklonia, corn silk, black pepper, mustard seed, cardamom, turmeric, radish seed, rhubarb. Grain alcohol 50%. Herb:menstruum::1:3

DRAGONTREE SCAR THERAPY OIL This healing oil contains essential fatty acids that restore the skin, enzymes that promote the breakdown of scar tissue, and essential oils that promote tissue regeneration. Some of the 19 potent ingredients in Scar Therapy are: Tamanu nut oil – the rich oil of an East Asian nut with a long history of use for damaged, scarred and irritated skin. Rosehip seed oil – this oil comes from the seeds of a Chilean species of rose. It’s high in essential fats that nourish the skin and restore healthy texture. Sea buckthorn oil – this rare, deep red oil has a long history of use due to its usual profile in beneficial fats that are restorative to the skin and mucous membranes. Helichrysum essential oil – this precious essential oil is commonly utilized to promote healing of scars and damaged or irritated nerves. When used several times daily, people experience fast results. Simply apply a small amount of this oil to the scar or stretch mark and massage it deeply into the skin for at least one full minute. If skin irritation occurs, discontinue use.

Ingredients: rose hip seed oil, sea buckthorne seed oil, tamanu nut oil, hazelnut oil, vitamin e, vitamin a, oils of helichrysum, blue chamomile, onion, carrot seed, sage, lemongrass, geranium, elemi, lavender, rosemary, nutmeg, enzymes.

DRAGONTREE PMS RELIEF FORMULA We believe most of the problems of PMS are due to stuck energy and blood, and deficiency of blood. Our PMS formula addresses both of these issues.* This formula, created by Dr. Peter Borten, eases both the physical and emotional symptoms that may occur before and during menstruation, including irritability, mood swings, cramps, breast tenderness, headache, acne, and digestive disturbance.* Peter has spent over a decade caring for patients – and staff – with PMS, and researching the most useful herbs to treat them. The women at The Dragontree swear by this formula. Our tincture is easy to use – just take 2 to 3 droppers in water or straight up, 2 to 3 times a day or as needed. This potent tincture is a highly sophisticated blend of 17 herbs chosen specifically for their effectiveness and their synergistic actions. Here are some ingredients of interest: Bupleurum root – the primary herb in Traditional Chinese Medicine for moving stagnant energy, and thus alleviating intense emotions and physical discomfort.* White peony root – this herb builds blood, alleviates cramps, and calms anger and irritability.* Albizzia bark – known as “collective happiness bark” this herb keeps everyone happy by alleviating the anger, sadness, and irratibility associated with PMS.* Viburnum bark – has a long history of use in American herbal medicine for the relief of cramps.* We’ve found that because it addresses the underlying mechanisms of PMS, when taken for the entire second half of the cycle over several months, many women eventually don’t need it at all.*

Ingredients: white peony, bupleurum, ginger, white atractylodes, albizzia, poria mushroom, rose, cyperus, moutan, angelica sinensis, chamomile, black cohosh, ligusticum, leonurus, black haw, dandelion, licorice. grain alcohol 50%. herb:menstruum::1:3

DRAGONTREE NASAL OIL The mucus membranes of the nose need to be moist in order to effectively trap airborne debris and germs. Soothing these passages with oil is a great step, but add herbs that calm mucous membranes and fight microbes and you’ve got prevention and treatment in one brilliant product. Dr. Peter Borten designed this product using the Ayurvedic wisdom of nasal lubrication and pacification, as a way to keep this sensitive area healthy and restoring to health any irritated tissues. Many nasal oils out there contain ginger, which can be a shocking and unpleasant experience that most people are unwilling to endure more than once. We’ve left that out (you’ll thank us for it), but here are some of the herbs and essential oils we did include: Coptis root – this herb has a long history of use to cool and soothe irritated mucous membranes and to dry up secretions; it is now understood to have strong antimicrobial properties. Angelica – this herb is used in Traditional Chinese Medicine to alleviate pain, activate the immune system in the nasal passages, and decongest the head. Calendula flower – this herb has a long tradition of use in western herbal medicine to soothe irritated skin and mucous membranes. Blue chamomile essential oil – is a powerful agent for calming, cooling, and soothing irritation of all types. Magnolia flower – this herb is valued for its ability to decongest the nose and sinuses. Ravensara essential oil - is valued in aromatherapy for the treatment of viral infections. Our nasal oil is a combination of these and other herbs, essential oils and oils that will lubricate and heal your nasal passageways.

To use this nasal oil, we recommend that you first perform neti (or at least blowing nose thoroughly), lie down or tip the head back fully and instill a few drops into each nostril. Relax for a bit before lifting the head. Repeat up to four times daily. Some drainage, minor burning, and a bitter taste are all normal. Ingredients: Sesame oil, Scutellaria baicalensis, Coptis, Phellodenron, Carthamus, Sophora, Angelica dahurica, Magnolia flower, Calendula, Licorice, Vitamin E, Essential oils of Chamomile, Lavender, Rosemary (verbenone), Balsam Fir, Ravensara.

This potent tincture is a sophisticated blend of Chinese, Western, and Ayurvedic herbs that not only address the patterns identified in these ancient systems that we now correlate with a physiological state of inflammation, but which have also been shown through modern research to possess anti-inflammatory properties.* Some of these powerful herbs are: Myrrh & Frankincense – these valuable resins have been treasured for ages for their wonderful fragrances and medicinal properties. Research shows they are effective at reducing inflammation.* Turmeric – this yellow spice has been shown to contain several compounds with potent anti-inflammatory properties. On its own, these compounds are poorly absorbed. When combined in our formula with another Indian spice, known as pippali, absorption is greatly improved.* Rosemary – a natural source of camphor, traditionally used as a circulation enhancer, and now understood to possess anti-inflammatory properties.* Honeysuckle – a valued herb for alleviating viral and bacterial infections and inflammation. Since much inflammation is potentially due to underlying low grade infections, anti-viral herbs can be a valuable adjunct in controlling inflammation.* Coptis root – this Chinese herb has long been treasured as an anti-infective agent; modern research shows it is also a potent anti-inflammatory herb.*

DRAGONTREE MUSCLE MELT REGENERATIVE CREAM We believe that topical relief is more effective and also safer for your body than internal products. When you take an advil or aspirin, it systemically affects your whole body. It doesn’t have the cleverness to know where to go, so it goes everywhere. When you address a spastic muscle or sore knee directly, you’re able to direct the formula where you need it, resulting in more effective and faster relief. For best results apply to sore muscles and joints two or three times daily. For better absorption, you may cover with plastic wrap and heat for 20-30 minutes. For longstanding issues, use consistently for one month. Dragontree’s Muscle Melt Regenerative Cream is more than just a numbing agent. DRAGONTREE MUSCLE MELT LINIMENT Dr. Peter Borten developed Muscle Melt liniment over years of working with patients using herbs in his practice.
