    Chapter ISEVEN LAST PLAGUES

, You are guilty 'of murder if you can save a man'slife and refuse to do so ; if you know a bridge is washedout; if you see a passenger train; if you can wave ared flag and stop that train, but refuse to do so, youare guilty of murder. You are the cause of the train-load of people going down in death to the bottom ofthat river.

When we know what is in the near future, we mustlet the people know. If we fail to warn them, theirblood will be required at our hand.PLAGUES ON THE EARTH

Seven angels will soon pour out seven plagues ofjudgment upon this earth. Look at the seven angels. They are now ready to pour out these plagues on thepeoples of the earth. These plagues are known as thethird woe, the seventh trumpet, the wrath of God, thehour of His judgment, the wine of the wrath of God,the seven last plagues and the vials of God's wrath,(Rev. 11:14,15,18; Rev. 14:7-19; Rev. 15:1) .

SMOKE IN THE TEMPLE"And the temple was filled with smoke from theglory of God, and from his power; and no man was

able to enter into the temple, till the seven plagues ofthe seven angels were fulfilled," (Rev. 15 :8).The lVIan, Christ Jesus, is now in the presence of

God for us, making intercession (Reb. 7 :25). At thehour of judgment, there will be no intercession; noone may enter into the temple. The hour of mercy willbe a thing of the past as far as preventing the tribu-lation from coming upon the earth. We believe thatGod's mercy will still be extended to people to the ex-tent that they will have a chance to repent. The wrathof God will be poured out at this time worse than theworld has ever known.

One time Isaiah saw the temple filled with smoke.'The hour of judgment had come for Israel, (Isa. 6:1-4) .

I believe it means just that. Let's keep it simple. Theword, revelation, shows it has been revealed.Moses and Aaron threw ashes into the air and a boilbroke out upon men and beasts, (Exod. 9 :9). There isno healing for these plagues, (Deut._ 28 :35). Their boilswill remain there, (Rev. 16:11). The people will betormented for months, (Rev. 9 :5).The magicians could not face the plagues during the

ministry of Moses, (Exod. 9 :11). Doctors, nurses, hos-pitals and medicine will not help you in the day thatthese plagues fall upon the earth. Physicians and"nurses will be crying out for mercy because of theirown cancerous sores.Today men smoke the cigarettes that are reported tocause cancer.. They defy God, but they will cry out

when these sores take hold of their body but the soreswill remain there, (Rev. 6:15-17; Prov.-l:28). "Thenshall they call upon me, but I will not answer; theyshall seek me early, but they shall not find me."The people who take the mark of the beast will suf-fer untold misery upon this earth; then they will dieand be lost forever in torment. They will never be for-given. "The Lord will smite thee with the botch ofEgypt, and with the emerods, and with the scab, andwith the itch, whereof thou canst not be healed,"(Deut. 28 :27).

THE SECOND VIAL"And the second angel poured out his vial upon thesea; and it became as the blood of a dead man: andevery living soul died in the sea," (Rev. 16 :3). Thesecond trumpet judgment affected only one-third ofthe sea. This second vial brings down greater judg-ment than ever. It is a greater degree of judgment. The second vial turns all the sea into blood, turns allthe water into blood, and destroys all life in the sea.We believe this affects all the seven seas in theworld. All harbors of the world will be filled with deadflesh, fish and reptiles. The sea will be cleansed of all the deadly man-eating

"And he said, Go, and tell this people, hear ye in-deed, but understand not; and see ye indeed, but per-ceive not. Make the heart of this people fat, and maketheir ears heavy, and shut their eyes; lest they seewith their eyes, and hear with their ears, and under-stand with their heart, and convert, and be healed. Then said I, Lord, how long? And he answered, "Untilthe cities be wasted without inhabitant, and the houseswithout man, and the land be utterly desolate," (Isa.6 :9-11).The saints will judge the world. We will judge menand angels, (ICor. 6 :2-5). An angel is a messenger.John saw an angel flying over heaven with the ever-lasting gospel just before the Lord's return. I thoughtof that as I was going to Africa on a jet. We wereabout seven miles high, going nearly seven hundredmiles an hour; just outside the glass it was seventydegrees below zero in one spot. The leaders of theseven churches of Asia were called seven angels. Hemakes His' angels ministering spirits. God uses blood-washed people to carry the message. He could haveused celestial beings, but He chose to use me and you.The two witnesses will bring plagues on the' earth bythe gift of miracles. They will turn water to blood. They will bring fire down from heaven. They will dosigns and wonders. They will do this by God's power,(Rev. 11 :3-5). Moses did the same thing as hestretched out his rod and the plagues came uponEgypt. Elijah called fire down from heaven in his min-istry. He held back the rain for three and a half years.

THE FIRST VIALAfter we have received a changed body, we will beused to judge angels. "And the first went, and pouredout his vial upon the earth; and there fell a noisomeand grievous sore upon the men which had the markof the beast, and upon them which worshipped hisimage," (Rev. 16 :2). The Bible says a grievous sorewill break out upon men in the last days when theplagues are poured out. When it says grievous sores,

sharks, be cleansed from all the dangers that attackmankind. The land shall be utterly spoiled, (Isa. 34:1-6) .These plagues will be literal. It will cover all theearth, including your nation. This plague is similar tothe plagues that took place in the land of Egypt. "AndMoses and Aaron did so, as the Lord commanded; andhe lifted up the rod, and smote the waters that werein the river, in the sight of Pharaoh, and in the sightof his servants; and all the waters that were in theriver were turned to blood. And the fish that was in theriver died; and the river stank, and the Egyptianscould not drink of the water of the river; and therewas blood throughout all the land of E-gypt," (Exod.7 :20-21).

They rejected the water of life; now they have bloodfor water. The guardian of the altar in heaven cries out that

God is true and righteous in these awful judgments. The altar was a place of mercy and intercession, butnow the altar is a witness against these people whoha ve taken the mark of the beast. They turn theirface to God, but they have no answer, because theyhave refused in the past to seek God's face.THE FOURTH VIAL"And the fourth angel poured out his vial upon thesun; and power was given unto him to scorch men withfire. And men were scorched with great heat, and blas-phemed the name of God, which hath power over theseplagues: and they repented not to give him glory,"(Rev. 16:8-9). This vial affects the light of the sun.Men have enjoyed the sunshine for years. They neverstop to give God the praise for the sun that gavenatural light to man, beast and plant. Now this bless-ing is taken away. God is not obligated to keep bless-ing people when they use their strength to build thedevil's kingdom. His glory He will not give to another.

The heat of the sun is increased sevenfold. Men suf-fer untold agony. Light is cut off. The kingdoms ofthe world become darkness. The kingdom of the worldruler is filled with darkness. Light flees away. Every-where that man turns, he meets darkness, darkness, darkness. The sun was one-third dark under the fourth trum-pet, but under the fourth vial the darkness is in-creased. It is gross darkness. The Lord is letting these things take place gradually, trying to get men to repent, who have not yet takenthe mark of the beast. In His mercy, He does this towake people and cause them to turn and repent.

God saw that everything was good that He createdin the beginning, (Gen. 1:18). Nature was perfectlybalanced. The climate and seasons were perfectlytempered. As man fell, a curse came upon God's crea-

THE THIRD VIAL"And the third angel poured out his vial upon therivers and fountains of waters; and they became blood. And I heard the angel of the waters say, Thou artrighteous, and shalt be, because thou hast judged thus. For they have shed the blood of saints and prophets, and thou hast given them blood to drink; for they areworthy. And I heard another out of the altar say, Evenso, Lord God Almighty, true and righteous are thyjudgments," (Rev. 16 :4-7).In the judgment of the third trumpet, the judgmentwas on the rivers, but the third vial judgment coversa wider scope. The angel is in charge of the waters ofall the earth. This will affect all the waters and life ofall the cities. This will affect your city.

Now is the time for man to flee from the wrath tocome. Now is the time for man to run to the refuge.Christ is our refuge. The breaking of judgment is justahead for the whole world, including your city, yourhome and your nation. The angel that is in charge of the waters justifiesGod in these judgments. The -men that worship thebeast; the men that take delight in shedding the bloodof prophets and saints, now are given blood to drink.

tion. Hurricanes, cyclones and storms show that theseasons are out of balance. The foundations of theearth are out of course, (Ps.82:5).

The sun will be seven times hotter than its naturalstrength. The sun will scorch men with fire. "More-over the light of the moon shall be as the light of thesun, and the light of the sun shall be sevenfold, as thelight of seven days, in the day that the Lord bindethup the breach of his people, and healeth the stroke oftheir wound," (lsa. 3D:26).

Why is all this taking place? The Lord must wakemen out of their sleep. He wants them to repent. Any-thing is better than their being lost forever.

I went into a burning house one time. They told mea lady was upstairs. She was trapped. Anything wouldbe better than letting this lady be destroyed and burnedwith fire. Soon a ladder was up on the side of the house. The window was torn off. We were determined to savethe woman if we tore up the house and injured her.Anything is better than letting people burn in hell.

The plagues are not as bad as hell. So God, in Hismercy, is trying to get men to repent. "The earthmourneth and fadeth away, the world languisheth and, fadeth away, the haughty people of the earth do lan-guish. The earth also is defiled under the inhabitantsthereof; because they have transgressed the laws, changed the ordinance, broken the everlasting cove-nant. Thereforth hath the curse devoured the earth, and they that dwell therein are desolate: therefore theinhabitants of the earth are burned, and few men left,(Isaiah 24:4-6) .Men have been warned of these awful days that arecoming. They have had time to repent, but they haverefused. God wants man to repent before all thesetrouble's come their way. "For, behold, the day cometh, that shall burn as an oven; and all the proud, yea, andall that do wickedly, shall be stubble: and the day thatcometh shall burn them up, saith the Lord of hosts, that it shall leave them neither root nor branch,"(Mal. 4 :1).

Still men harden their hearts and refuse to repentof their evil deeds. This only brings on them morejudgment. We don't read that all the people refused torepent, but we do read that some people would not re-pent. Even when men are being scorched with fire, many of them rebell, harden their heart and refuse torepent of their evil deeds, (Rev. 16:9). What is manthat he should be so rebellious? It seems that he doesnot understand himself. After God gives him hisbreath, his strength, his food, and his raiment; afterGod gives him the right exercise of mind; after Godgives him his job, his home and his children; after Hebreathes the pure air; after he receives divinestrength; then he still rebells against God. He defieshis Maker. The men that sell themselves to Satan be-come the property of the devil.

THE FIFTH VIAL"And the fifth angel poured out his vial upon the

seat of the beast; and his kingdom was full of dark-ness; and they gnawed their tongues for pain, andblasphemed the God of heaven because of their painsand their sores, and repented not of their deeds," (Rev.16:10-11). This vial also affects the sun. The heat ofthe sun grows more intense. Men are scorched withfire.

Why is this? Even this is better than hell. The Lordin His mercy is throwing out a blockade to keep menout of hell, to keep men from taking the mark of thebeast and being doomed forever. This plague is closelyrelated to the plague that came upon the Egyptiansafter they oppressed the people of God. "And the Lordsaid unto Moses, Stretch out thine hand toward

heaven, that there may. be darkness over the land ofEgypt, even darkness which may be felt. And Mosesstretched forth his hand toward heaven; and there wasa thick darkness in all the land of Egypt three days:They saw not one another, neither rose any from hisplace for three days: but all the children of Israel hadlight in their dwellings," (Exod. 10:21-23).

    ,

day of the Lord is near in the valley of decision. Thesun and the moon shall be darkened, and the stars shallwithdraw their shining," (Joel 3 :12-15).Isaiah also saw the future and told us of the awfulj udgrnent to come. He warned men to flee from thewrath to come. By two or three witnesses let everyword be established. All the prophets spoke of the day

of the judgment and said the wrath of God would fall-upon the inhabitants of the earth. Men have trampledthe mercies of God under their feet."Howl ye; for the day of the Lord is at, hand; itshall come as a destruction from the Almighty. There-fore shall all hands be faint, and every man's heartshall melt: And they shall be afraid: pangs and sor-rows ,shall take hold of them; they shall be in painas a woman that travaileth: they shall be amazed oneat another; their faces shall be as flames. Behold, theday of the Lord cometh, cruel both with wrath and'fierce anger, to lay the land desolate: and he shalldestroy the sinners thereof out of it. For the stars ofheaven and the constellations thereof shall not givetheir light: the sun shall be darkened in his goingforth, and the moon shall not cause her light to shine,"(Isa. 13:6-10).After all this, men will yet refuse to repent. God istrying to get them to repent, but like Pharaoh, theyharden their heart. Like Pharaoh, they go down indefeat. The judgments of God fall upon them. They areconsigned to the judgment and wrath of the AlmightyGod whom they have blasphemed and defied. No doubt, there will be a few people who repent andturn to God. But men who follow on in sin will becomemore hardened. If they won't change now, why wouldthey change' then when the powers of hell arestronger? Two hundred million demons are cast downto this sin-cursed earth. They are roaming the worldover, possessing people who are not right with theirMaker. The power of Satan will become stronger inthese people as judgment becomes more intense dayby day.

Joel looked down through the telescope of time andsaw the terrible day of the Lord. He warned mankindto get right with God. Many people refuse to heed thiswarning. God is warning you every day throughpreachers, through His word, and through the HolySpirit. Still many people rebel, harden their hearts andbecome as natural brute beasts. "The sun shall beturned into darkness, and the moon into blood, beforethe great and the terrible day of the Lord come. Andit shall come to pass, that whosoever shall call on thename of the Lord shall be delivered: for in MountZion and in Jerusalem shall be deliverance, as the Lordhath said, and in the remnant whom the Lord shallcall," (Joel 2 :31-32).There is no letting up of the terrible plagues. Stillmen refuse to repent. Things become worse. The sickleis put in to reap the harvest of the earth. Still man,in his rebellious state runs and defies God. They blas-pheme the God that created them and gave them theirbreath their life and their strength."And another angel came out of the temple which isin heaven, he also having a sharp sickle. And anotherangel came out from the altar, which had power overfire' and cried with a loud cry to him that had thesharp sickle, saying, Thrust in thy sharp sickle, andgather the clusters of the vine of the earth; for hergrapes are fully ripe. And the angel thrust in his sickleinto the earth, and gathered the vine of the earth, andcast it into the great winepress .o f the wrath of God.And the winepress was trodden without the city, andblood came out of the winepress, even unto the horsebridles, by the space of a thousand and six hundredfurlongs," (Rev. 14:17-20)."Let the heathen be wakened, and come up to thevalley of Jehoshaphat: for there, will I sit to judge allthe heathen round about. Put ye in the sickle, for theharvest is ripe: come get you down; for the press isfull the fats overflow; for their wickedness is great.Multitudes, multitudes in the valley of decision: for the

Men who go to hell receive hell before they get there. You will never get to hell unless you get so~e hell inyou first. Men who go to heaven get some heaven inthem before they get there. You will never get toheaven until you get some heaven in you.

Men have rebelled against God as did Satan. If Satanwould not serve God; if Satan was cast out of heavenbecause he rebelled against God, I am sure Godwouldn't let a finite man go to heaven rebelling againstHim. God wouldn't let Satan stay in heaven when hewas full of rebellion. I am sure He would not let us goto heaven with rebellion in our heart. Rebellion is asthe sin of witchcraft, and stubbornness is as iniquityand idolatry, (I Sam. 15 :23). The people who worshipidols and the people who practice witchcraft will cer-tainly be shut out of heaven and so will the rebellious, stubborn professers today.

God hates rebellion. In the tribulation days men willrebel until the very spirit of perdition settles upontheir souls. They soon reach the place of no return. There is no more remedy.

THE SIXTH VIAL"And the-sixth angel poured out his vial upon the

great river Euphrates; and the water thereof was driedup, that the way of the kings of the east might be pre-pared. And I saw three unclean spirits like frogs comeout of the mouth of the dragon, and out of the mouthof the beast, and out of the mouth of the false prophet. For they are the spirits of devils, working miracles, which go forth unto the kings of the earth and of thewhole world, to gather them to the battle of that greatday of God Almighty. Behold, I come as a thief.Blessed is he that watcheth, and keepeth his garments, lest he walk naked, and they see his shame. And hegathered them together into a place called in theHebrew tongue Armageddon," (Rev. 16: 12-16).

Read about the sixth trumpet in chapters eight andnine. It seems that the River Euphrates represents theland of Babylon. The harlot woman mentioned in Reve-

    ,

lation 17, comes from that land. The abominations ofthe earth are found there in that land. That is wherethe world church had her headquarters. That is themother of harlots. Every church that does not believe inthe supernatural power of God is counted a harlot inGod's book, and the mother of all these denominationssits upon seven hills in that great city of Rome. Spir-itually it is called Babylon.

This land divides the East and the West. We read inRevelation 9, that there were four angels bound inEuphrates.

Up until now, the war of nations has been in eitherthe East or the West. These wars have not been foughtin Babylon. Babylon is the barrier between these twogreat sides, the East and the West.

The river of Euphrates can hardly be crossed at anypoint. It is eighteen hundred miles long, up to thirtyfeet deep, and as much as a mile wide. This river hasbeen a boundary line between the East and the West. This is where the possession of Israel stopped, (Gen.15:18).

When the sixth trumpet sounded, the river was af-fected greatly. When the sixth plague is poured out,the waters of this river are dried up. This permits thekings of the East to come over to the West and this iswhen the great battle begins.

The climate conditions will be greatly disturbed. Theearth will be out of course more than ever before.Nature will rebel. There will be men who will have power to shut upheaven, that there will be no rain, Elijah did this verysame thing, (James 5; Rev. 11 :6).Should this take place again, this river could go dry.The seven streams that furnish the water for this riverwill dry up, letting man pass over, without getting hisfeet wet."And the Lord shall utterly destroy the tongue ofthe Egyptian sea; and with his mighty wind shall heshake his hand over the river, and shall smite it in the

seven streams, and make men go over dryshod," (Isa.11:15). ,We believe this plague will do more than just dryup the river. The water drying up would not affect amodern army too much. We have modern equipmentthat could transport any army across this river with-out too much trouble. We believe this could well mean that all obstaclesand hindrances to the ever-increasing Chinese armywill be removed in that day. The men of this army willpour across this barrier like flies. China is a sleepinggiant. When she awakes, the world will be sorry. As has been said, should the Chinese soldiers marchfour abreast, without stopping, they would never getacross this river. They are born faster than that .There will be three unclean spirits like frogs comingout of the mouth of the beast and the dragon and thefalse prophet. These are the spirits of devils workingmiracles. The drying up of the Euphrates River will not beenough to cause the power of the East to come overthis great river. There is a strong force of evil spiritsbehind these armies. The devil's trinity will be in fullforce in that day. This is Satan's final push for world, power. Satan, in his struggle to win the battle ofArmageddon, no doubt will send his spirits and furnishsupernatural power and new inventions that will takemen's lives instantly.

"And I saw three unclean spirits like frogs come outof the mouth of the dragon, and out of the mouth ofthe beast, and out of tlt mouth of the false prophet. For they are the spirits of devils, working miracles, which go forth unto the ki gs of the earth and of thewhole world, to gather them to the battle of that greatday of God Almighty," \ (Rev. 16: 13-14).These spirits go out into all the world. They go bothto the East and to the West. They vex men against oneanother, and entice them to go into the most dreadful

battle ever known. This' will be the last battle. It will

    ,

be a supernatural battle a battle against Christ andHis people., -These evil spirits that go out into all the world willbrain-wash people into believing a lie. They will believe

a lie and be damned. These spirits will lie to them andcause them to go blindly into this great battle of Ar-mageddon. These spirits will confuse men. These spiritswill control their thinking; they will be led into a pathof ruin and destruction .About 400 false prophets told King Ahab to go upto battle. They predicted that he would win this battle ,but afterwards it was found a lying spirit had beensent to do this. A lying spirit told these false prophetsit was all right for King Ahab to go up to battle. Theytold him that he would win the battle, but death washis portion; a shameful death. He met his defeat. Hewent .down .in /ruin. A lying spirit will come into themouth 'of all the prophets of the antichrist church inthe last days. They will preach for men to line up with/ the world government. They will preach for men toline up with the world church; but this lying spirit willcause them to rush headlong into the battle of theages. This lying spirit will predict that they will win.The antichrist, with his supernatural power and all thearmies of the earth, will come against Christ, withHis supernatural power and all the armies of heaven. The antichrist and his armies of the earth will be de-feated. Men will fall like flies. The fowls of the air shallfeast upon their flesh. A lying spirit will bring thearmies of the world together in the last time.

"And he said, Hear thou therefore the word of theLord: I saw the Lord sitting on his throne, and all thehost of heaven standing by him on his right hand andon his left. And the Lord said, Who shall persuadeAhab, that he may go up and fall at Ramothgilead? And one said on this manner, and another said on thatmanner. And there came forth a spirit, and stood be-fore the Lord, and said, I will persuade him. And theLord said unto him. Wherewith? And he said, I will go

forth, and I will be a lying spirit in the mouth of allhis prophets. And he said, Thou shalt persuade him,and prevail also: go forth, and do so. Now there, be-hold, the Lord hath put a lying spirit in the mouth ofall these thy prophets and the Lord hath spoken evilconcerning thee," (lKings 22: 19:23) .

Micaiah told King Ahab what was going to happen. He told him the truth. He had the true Spirit of God.The Lord has some people today that are telling menthe truth. Yet many people will not heed the warning.

The ten kings of the earth will be led to destruction.False prophets are predicting their success. When theysay peace and safety, then sudden destruction willcome, (I Thes. 5:3). Lying spirits will lead the worldgovernment and the world church against God and Hispeople. Will you be on God's side in that day? If youmean to be on God's side in that day, you had betterget on God's side today.

The Rhineland peasants went in a wild crusade to theHoly Land at one time. A large number of Jews wereslaughtered. Crusaders one after another, failed to ac-complish their purpose. The children's crusade in 1212was begun. These people were captured and sold asslaves in Egypt. No doubt, they were inspired bySatan to march to their own doom.

While I was on Mt. Zion, we were taken to a placewhere we saw bones and soap, etc., as the result of thesix million Jews that were murdered by Hitler inGermany. We saw the poison gas. I have a moving pic-ture now that shows those teeming thousands of Jewsas they were rushed nude into the gas chambers. Thenwe see the bulldozer that takes them and throws theminto a large valley where they are covered. Then we seehundreds of yards of carpet which was made from thewomen's hair. Millions of Jews were slaughtered. Whocan say that Hitler did not give heed to seducingspirits and doctrines of devils which drove him intosuch a hideous war, into an insane condition, whichpossessed him with murder and hate! He wouldn't be

    ,

    ,

    ,14

satisfied until he slaughtered millions, multiplied mil-lions of the Jewish people. Yet that was just a fore-runner of the great tribulation ahead. The Bible saidthere would be tribulation worse than the world hasever known. The seducing spirits will go into all theworld to recruit men for this great battle. They willattack people all over the world, instead of just oneman like Hitler. There will be millions of people withthe same desire and the same drive, possessed with thesame spirit that Hitler had. This will spell their doom. They will make their last stand in the valley of Megid-do. Recently we looked over this place where this greatbattle of the ages will be fought, the future place ofslaughter.

We don't believe that the world will be divided intotwo groups. All the armies of the earth will .comeagainst all the armies of heaven, (Rev. 19:19).

The world church and the world government willgo into a league for a while, (Rev. 17). Then the worldgovernment will turn against the world church andburn her with fire.

The ten kingdoms of the world will not stand to-gether with solid power. They will be as iron and claymixed. "And as the toes of the feet were part of iron, and part of clay, so the kingdom shall be partly strong, and partly broken. And whereas thou sawest ironmixed with miry clay, they shall mingle themselveswith the seed of men: but they shall not cleave pneto another, even as iron is not mixed with clay," (Dan.2 :42-43).

Russia and China do not agree today. That is agood example of the mixture of iron and clay. Theten toes of Daniel's image will fall apart permanentlywhen the stone which is cut out without hands. comesrolling out of the mountain and crushes down thekingdoms of this world. This shows that the GentileSupremacy will continue until the revelation of JesusChrist. Then Jesus Christ, Himself, will come and setup a government where there will be no end:

Armageddon is a spiritual battle a crusade ofhell itself. "Proclaim ye this among the Gentiles; pre-pare war, wake up the mighty men, let all the menof war draw near; let them come up: Beat your plow-shares into swords, and your pruninghooks intospears: let the weak say, I am strong. Assemble your-selves, and come, all ye heathen, and gather yourselvestogether round about thither; cause thy mighty onesto come down, 0 Lord," (Joel 3:9-11).

Russia has boasted that she will dethrone God. Thatis what Satan tries to do at the battle of Armageddon."The kings of the earth set themselves, and the rulerstake counsel together, against the Lord, and againsthis anointed, saying, Let us break their bands asunder, and cast away their cords from us. He that sittethin the heavens shall laugh: the Lord shall hold themin derision," (Psalms 2 :2-4) .

It behooves us to be on God's side. We must fightthis battle supernaturally. We must be ready. "Behold,I come as a thief. Blessed is he that watcheth, andkeepeth his garments, lest he walked naked, and theysee his shame," (Rev. 16:15).

We must come back from the marriage in the air.We must help put a stop to this great battle of Arma-geddon between Christ and antichrist.

THE SEVENTH VIALThe seventh vial is different from the seventh

trumpet. The seventh trumpet fulfilled the mysteryof God, (Rev. 10:7). "But in the days of the voice ofthe seventh angel, when he shall begin to sound, themystery of God should be finished, as he hath declaredto his servants the prophets." The seventh vial fulfillsthe seventh trumpet and announces the day of God'swrath. "And the seventh angel poured out his vialinto the air; and there came a great voice out of thetemple of heaven, from the throne, saying, It is done,"(Rev. 16:17).

    1. The atmosphere is disturbed. There are greatthunderings and lightenings.

    2. There is a great earthquake, greater than theIworld has ever known. This awful earthquake willdivide Jerusalem into' three parts.

    3. The cities of the nations will fall. Not just onecity, but your city too. All the cities of the nationswill fall.

    4. Great hail falls from heaven.5. Great Babylon receives the cup of God's wrath.6. The beast will be dethroned. Satan will be bound. This will be as the battle of Armageddon comes to a

climax.Jesus predicted that in the last days there will be

earthquakes worse than the world has ever known. That is a sign that we are in the last days. We havethousands of earthquakes now, where we were havingdozens a century ago. I stood on one lot in Tokyo,Japan, where an earthquake caused 35 thousand peo-ple to be burned to death.

People will hear a great and mighty thunder, thenthe earth will quake, (Isa 29: 6-7) .

"For thus saith the Lord of hosts; Yet once, it isa little while, and I will shake the heavens, and theearth, and the sea, and the dry land; And I will shakeall nations, and the desire of all nations shall come:and I will fill this house with glory, saith the Lordof hosts," (Haggai 2:6-7).

Not Russia, China or Cuba will be shaken only, butall nations will tremble under the plagues. Manypreachers preach as if God is an American God only. They teach that the United States will be saved andCuba will be destroyed. Remember that all the worldwill be under one ruler in that day. All the world willwonder after the beast, (Rev. 13:1-7). All the worldwill be destroyed (Rev. 19:1-20).

All the world will be destroyed because they havebroken God's commandments, (lsa. 24:1; 18-20).

Ever since the flood, the foundation of the earthhas been out of place. The seasons have been terriblyaffected. This has caused tornadoes, floods, droughts

"And ye shall flee to the valley of the mountains';for the valley of the mountains shall reach unto Azal:yea, ye shall flee, like as ye fled from before the earth-quake in the days of Uzziah king of Judah: and theLord my God shall come, and all the saints with thee,"(Zech. 14:5).

"And Enoch also, the seventh from Adam, prophe-sied of these, saying, Behold, the Lord cometh withten thousands of his saints," (Jude 14). This will takeplace at the end of Armageddon. Every island will fleeaway. The mountains will not be found (Rev. 6:20).

The earth will return to its beauty and glory as inAdam's day. We have norecord of mountains or islandsbeing here before the foundation of the deep wasbroken up' during the year and seventeen days Noahwas in the Ark. The great earthquake is not all. Hailwill fall in that day. One piece will weigh about ahundred pounds. What city of the earth can hold upunder one-hundred-pound pieces of ice falling fromheaven?

A plague of hail fell upon Egypt. But it is hardlyto be compared with hail that is to fall in the lastdays. This hail that fell upon Egypt beat down thecrops. This hail will fall and beat down cities. Therewill be' tribulation worse than has ever been knownin the history of time.

"Behold, tomorrow about this time I will cause itto rain a very grievous hail, such as. hath not beenin Egypt since the foundation thereof even until now.Send therefore now, and gather thy cattle, and all, that thou hast in the field; for upon every man andbeast which shall be found in the field, and shall notbe brought home, the hail shall come down upon them, and they shall die. He that feared the word of theLord among the servants of Pharaoh. made his ser-vants and his cattle flee into the houses: And he thatregarded not the word of the. Lord left his servantsand his cattle in the field. And the Lord said untoMoses, Stretch forth thine hand toward heaven, that

hurricanes and violent winters. The seventh plaguereverses Noah's flood and prepares the earth for theperfect age of a thousand years of peace.

The earthquake will especially affect Jerusalem. Itwill divide the city into three parts, (Rev. 16:19).

At first, a tenth of the city will fall. Seven thousandpeople will be killed, (Rev. 11:13). After men see this, they will not repent, (Rev. 11, 13). Then when allthe cities in the world fall, no cities will be spared,(Rev. 19). Read this carefully and you will see thatno city will be spared. Your city will not be spared.

"That ye may eat the flesh of kings, and the fleshof captains, and the flesh of mighty men, and the fleshof horses, and of them that sit on them, and the fleshof all men, both free and bond, both small and great,"(Rev. 19:18).

Some people take some verses out of the Old Testa-ment and try to teach that their part of the worldwill be spared. That is the height of national pride. That is the height of spiritual ignorance. That is theheight of carnality. Every city in the world will fall. When all the nations fall, this will be the end of theage, (Rev. 19:19).

Jesus will come from heaven. Not long ago I stoodon the very spot where His feet will touch the Mountof Olives. This mountain will cleave in two parts. Agreat valley will be left. In the center springs of waterwill gush forth from the earth. Some of them will flowtoward the Mediterranean Sea and some toward theDead Sea, (Zach 14:4).

From here, we will return with Jesus and enjoy thethousand years of peaceful reign. There will be nomore wars. Satan will be bound. There will be nothingto hurt and destroy."And I will bring the third part through the fire, and will refine them as silver is refined, and will trythem as gold is tried: they shall call on my name, andI will hear them: I will say, It is my people: and theyshall say, The Lord is my God," (Zech 13:9).

rians oppressed them without cause. Now therefore, what have I here, saith the Lord, that my people istaken away for nought? They that rule over themmake them to howl, saith the Lord; and my name con-tinually every day is blasphemed," (Isa. 52:4-5).

"And he that blasphemeth the name of the Lord,he shall surely be put to death, and all the congrega-tion shall certainly stone him: as well as the stranger,as he that is born in the land, when he blasphemeththe name of the Lord, shall be put to death," (Lev.24: 16).

In Moses' day they stoned the blasphemers. In thisday, they will be stoned from heaven. Hail can killany army that comes against Christ.

"And it came to pass, as they fled from beforeIsrael, and were in the going down to Bethhoron, thatthe Lord cast down great stones from heaven uponthem unto Azekah, and they died: they were morewhich died with hailstones than they whom the chil-dren of Israel slew with the sword," (Josh ua 10:11).

Antichrist, with all his supernatural powers withall the armies of the earth, will be destroyed by Christ, and His supernatural powers and all the armies ofheaven, (Rev. 19:19). A supernatural battle waswaged. We will win the victory. That supernatural hasnow begun. There is a line drawn in every church. Onone side the people believe in miracles, the supernat-ural power of God and divine deliverance. On the otherside, men go by form and ritual. They scoff at thefaith that is entrusted to men. They make fun ofspiritual gifts. They rely on their education and theirnatural carnal knowledge. Will you get on the winningside? Will you get on the side that I am on? No nationor city will escape. Your city will not protect you. Nobomb shelter can protect you. If you run into a bombshelter, a hundred thousand people will go in afteryou, they will pull it down. Your gold cannot deliveryou in that day. The rocks and mountains will notprotect you in this hour of wrath.

there may be hail in all the land of Egypt, upon man,and upon beast, and upon every herb of the field, throughout the land of Egypt. And Moses stretchedforth his rod toward heaven: and the Lord sentthunder and hail, and the fire ran along upon theground; and the Lord rained hail upon the land ofEgypt," (Exod. 9 :18:23).

The hail that fell in Egypt broke down every tree.Shelters protected some livestock which was broughtin from the field. During the last plague, 'no life canbe spared. We have seen some hailstorms here thatalmost destroyed our buildings in this generation. We,have a record of a bad hailstorm in 1931. Men could.hardly survive under it. In the hailstorms of thefuture, men will not be spared. rIf a hailstone which weighs one pound does so muchdamage, what will a hailstone weighing one hundred

, pounds do? Men will continue to harden their hearts. No doubt some will surrender to Christ, pray and get, forgiveness in their dying hour, but the .men who have

1taken -the mark of the beast will never, never be saved.Men will continue to harden their hearts. Many ofthem will fail to repent, even in this terrible day. Wesee God's mercy even in this. He is offering pardon. Some will give their hearts to God even in that day. They will go to heaven by the way of the grave:

"And the same hour was there a great earthquake;and the tenth part of the city fell, and in the earth-quake were slain of men seven thousand: and theremnant were affrighted, and gave glory to the Godof heaven," (Rev. 11:13).

Men are harder to understand than any of God'screation. Many men will curse while they live and

. 4 ' ' -blaspheme as they draw their last breath. That is whythe judgments will fall upon them. That is why thesejudgments are so great. Blasphemy is counted oneof the greatest of sins.

"And I beheld when he had opened the sixth seal, and, 10 , there was a great earthquake; and the sunbecame black as sackcloth of' hair, and the moonbecame as blood; and the stars of heaven fell untothe earth, .even as a fig tree casteth her untimelyfigs, when she is shaken of a mighty wind. And theheaven departed as a scroll when it is rolled together;and every mountain and 'island were moved out of theirplaces. And the kings of the earth; and the great men,and the rich men, and the chief captains, and themighty men, and every bondman, and every free man,hid themselves in the dens and in the rocks of themountains; and said to the mountains and rocks Fallon us, and hide us from the face of him that sittethon the tl~rone, and from the wrath of the Lamb: Forthe greaf day of his wrath is come; and who shall beable to stand," (Rev. 6:12-17)?

There is only one refuge and you can come into thatrefuge now. The name of the Lord is a strong tower. The righteous run into it and are safe. Christ is ourrefuge.

"A thousand shall fall at thy side, and ten thousandat thy right hand; but it shall not come nigh thee.Only with thine eyes shalt thou behold and see thereward of the wicked," (Psalms 91:7-8).

You can go to meet Jesus and not be here on thissin-cursed earth when these plagues come your way.You can escape these plagues by going up in the Rap-ture, (I Thes. 4 :16-17). "For the Lord himself shalldescend from heaven with a shout, with the voice ofthe archangel" and with the trump of God: and thedead in Christ shall rise first: Then we which are aliveand remain shall be caught up together with them inthe clouds, to meet the Lord in the air: and so shallwe ever be with the Lord. Wherefore comfort oneanother with these words."You can go meet Jesus and not be here when theseplagues come this way. Take on the whole armor ofGod that you might escape these things that are com-

ing upon the world. Pray always that you might becounted worthy to escape these plagues. Take on thewedding garment. Have your vessels filled with oil.Be sealed for the day of redemption. When the plaguesfell upon the people in Egypt, God's people were pro-tected. They were with Moses. When these plaguesfall upon people, we can be with Jesus at the marriagesupper in the air. He is a prophet like unto Moses. You can be dwelling with Jesus in the air where noplague can come. Be protected from these seven lastplagues.

"There shall no evil befall thee, neither shall anyplague come nigh thy dwelling, (Psalms 91 :10).

    CHAPTER IITHE GIFT OF MIRACLES

The other night I was talking to Brother Savage. He told me that he does not have as much love andcompassion as he had when he was first saved. Hesaid that just after he was saved, he would cry whena little puppy dog was run over by a car or hurt insome way. He would pick up this little puppy dog andcry over it. He said he wanted to get back to the placewhere he would cry over puppy dogs again.

I told him that he was growing up. He is becominga man in the Lord. Paul said that when he became aman, he put away childish things, (I Cor. 13). "Inmalice be ye children, in understanding be ye men,"(I Cor. 14 :20). God wants us to be a man, but yet achild. He wants us to be compassionate yet He wantsus to be tough as a man. We are hardened soldiers. We are fighting a good fight of faith. Jesus wept; yetJesus rebuked. He told the officials of the church thatthey were hypocrites, vipers, whited sepulchres and

blind leaders of the blind. He told them that they wereof their father, the devil, (Matt. chapter 23; Johnchapters 6 and 8). He made a whip and ran somereligious people out of the temple, (John 2 :15). Hetold Peter, "Get behind me, Satan."God's word commands us to reprove and rebukewith all authority, (Titus 2:15). He" said for us tohave no fellowship with the unfruitful works of dark-ness, but rather reprove them, (Eph. 5 :11). Now it,is pretty easy for us to obey the first part of thatverse, but it takes a real Christian to do the secondpart of it. If your brother sin against you, rebukehim. If he repents, forgive him, (Luke 17:3). Godcommands us to reprove and rebuke, (II Tim. 4 :2).We all like to be good Christians. We like to betender. We like to be full of love. That is wonderful, but God wants us to have a tough hide like a rhino-cerous. People will shoot fiery darts at us from every

    ""

side. This battle is no place for a weakling. A soldiermust be tough.I was watching some men build a road one time. Abulldozer went ahead, tearing all the trees, rocks andstumps out of the way. It looked like the road wasbeing torn up. Soon a grader came along. It made theroad nice and smooth. In fact, it built a new road. Many of us like to be a grader, but we hold back fromdoing rough jobs. Sometimes God has a rough job tosend us on. He sends us to some rough territory. Ourfeet must be shod with the preparation of the gospelof peace. Someone that would dance and shout in thespirit all the time may not be able to do the roughwork.Weare like a grader sometimes and we are like abulldozer sometimes. Not many people like to be thebulldozer type or have a bulldozer type of ministry. Itis necessary. God is looking for people that He canuse in the rough places, to do the hard jobs. They willbe criticized, spit upon, mocked and knocked. But ifwe will have a tough hide, it will not bother us too-

much. He is looking for a man to stand in the gap. Ababy can't do the job. We must grow up. We must notbe a crybaby all of our life.

Daniel was a kind man who prayed very often. Hewas without fault before God yet he was tough enoughto defy the king's army. He was too tough for thewise men. The lions did not care for this kind of manfor their breakfast. The three Hebrew children were children of God.They were full of God. They were packed full of love, yet they were tough. They would not bow. They wouldnot burn. The fire burned the cords from around them. The men who threw them in the fire were consumed,

yet these three boys stood. They were not exactlybabies. They were not cream puffs. "Quit ye like men,be strong," (I Cor. 16:13).Martin Luther did not sit and cry, or ask someone

to pray for him when he was persecuted. He boldlywalked up to the state church and nailed the paperson the church door. He faced the whole world. He wasstern. He was firm. He meant business. He stoodagainst the whole world and won.We saw where hundreds of Christians defied theauthorities and were fed to the hungry lions. Readthe account of the heroes of faith in the 11th chapterof Hebrews."Who through faith subdued kingdoms, wroughtrighteousness, obtained promises, stopped the mouthsof lions, quenched the violence of fire, escaped theedge of the sword, out of weakness were made strong, waxed valiant in fight, turned to flight the armies ofthe aliens. Women received their dead raised to lifeagain: and others were tortured, not accepting deliv-erance; that they might obtain a better resurrection:And others had trials of cruel mockings and scourg-ings, yea, moreover of bonds and imprisonment: They

wore animal skins for clothes. They were not exactlycream puffs or sissies.Elisha called some she-bears out of the woods anddestroyed forty teen-agers that did not believe in therapture, (II Kings 2 :24). One time Elisha faced awhole army of people, just he and his servant. He

struck them blind and won the battle, (Ll.Kings 6 :18).These men were not all babies. They grew up to bemen.Stephen was not exactly a weakling. He told thereligious leaders that refused and resisted the HolyGhost that they were, "Stiff'necked and uncircum-cized in heart," (Acts. 7 :51) He was not a cream puff.Caleb was a man who was a rough warrior and astrong soldier. He asked for the mountain full of

giants. He could fight as well when he was eighty-five years old as he could when he was forty. He wasa war-horse who was anxious to get into the battle. Here lately I have seen some war-horses that canhardly stand still when the battle is on. They wantto get on the front lines. They want to go forth con-quering and to conquer.

Before the end of time, God will have some menthat will be doing the same works as did the prophetsof old. They will turn water into blood. They will callfire down from heaven and shut up the heavens wherethere will be no rain, (Rev. 11:3-5). The Bible didn'tsay there would be only two men that would do this. There was an account written of two men that wouldbe doing this, but God may have two thousand menthat will bring down judgment. We don't believe itwas some old prophets raised up who died thousandsof years ago. We belieVe that God has plenty of mentoday that He can use to do these works, because thisis the gift of miracles in operation. God has set thegifts in the church.

These people will call down judgment on the dis-obedient. They will judge saints; they will judgeangels, (I Cor. 6 :2-4). They will call down judg-

sheepskins and goatskins; being destitute afflicted, tormented ... " (Heb. 11:33-37) .We need to be tough on the outside and tender onthe inside. They tell us Napoleon was as bold as alion on the outside, but yet on the inside he was ascalm as a dove. I know ministers today who haveweathered the storms. They meet the devil on his ownground and conquer him. Yet they are tender enough. They cry all night. They must be original. There canbe no copying here. We must do all these things underthe anointing of the spirit of God and be led by HisHoly Spirit, if we want God to stand with us. Wecannot stand within ourselves.Moses put out his rod and brought the lice, frogsand hail. He turned the water into blood. He causedgrievous sores to break out upon the people. He closedthe sea on Pharaoh and all of his hosts. He shut hissister, Miriam, out of the camp seven days onlybecause she murmured and complained. He openedthe earth and swallowed 250 families because theycriticized his ministry, (Numbers 16 :30). He had aboy put to death because this boy cursed, (Lev. 24 :23).He pronounced the death penalty on people becausethey committed adultery, or worked on the Sabbathday, (Lev. 20:10; Numbers 15:32).

Joshua went into the battle in person and con-quered. He had Achan put to death because Achanheld back God's part.

Samson slayed three thousand people with the jaw-bone of an ass. Shamyar took an ox goad and forceda whole army to retreat. He won the battle, (Judges3:5) .Elijah had 950 false prophets killed, (I Kings18 :40). Elijah withheld the rain from a group ofunbelievers for three-and-one-half years. We are menof like passions as Elijah, (James 5 :17).Elijah called down fire from heaven to destroy somepeople that would not accept his ministry, (lKings2 :24). Itseems that Elijah and John the Baptist both

Could God use you in the last days even as He didMoses and Elijah, to bring plagues down on the headof God's enemies?

Jesus cannot come back to this earth until every-thing is restored, even all the gifts. Even the gift ofmiracles will be included, (Acts 3 :21).

Through such men as Wesley, Moody, Finney, Spur-geon and others, the fruits of the spirit were restoredto the church. Joy, peace, gentleness, kindness, long-suffering, love, etc., was restored to men. But we mustgo on. They, without us, cannot be made perfect. Weare not looking for a Moody revival, or a Finneyrevival; we must go on further. Through men andwomen today, the gifts are being restored.

A few years ago" we saw tongues come back to thechurch. Next, we saw interpretation return to itsrightful place. Then prophecy came along. Men mar-veled each time. Then it didn't attract attention somuch. It didn't draw such a large crowd as before. Itbecame so shouting and dancing and praising Goddidn't attract too many people. Sanctification becamecommon; holiness became just an everyday affair. This didn't draw too big a crowd.

Then the gifts of healing were restored. Healinghas become so common in these days that men passit by as an everyday affair. After this, certain menwere raised up with a word of knowledge. They couldtell the secret of men's hearts. A minister could tellpeople what they had been thinking before they lefthome, and what they had prayed about before theyleft home. Like the prophets of old, these men areseers. They see into men's lives. They see into thefuture. They tell the saints all their heart. Yet, somepeople will say, "We have seen that before." They goon in their everyday life. They go to the worldlyamusements and watch television, many times insteadof coming to a revival. In some revivals we see spiritsdiscerned. This gift will be increased more and moreas the end of time draws near

-,ment on the world. Miracles of judgment will operatethrough their ministry.

I know a boy that disturbed Brother G 's altarcall. Something within Brother G said, "Thisboy will be dead in twenty-four hours." The next dayBrother G and the pastor were riding along. Theysaw a car run into a freight train. The car was demol-ished and a boy was instantly killed. His brains wereknocked a long way. It was this boy that disturbedhis services the day before.

Brother V was a pastor in a certain church. He had trouble in this church. There was no cure forthis trouble except for one thing: This pastor spokethe word. This woman went out to rneet God. TheSunday School doubled. A revival came and the churchmoved on.

You can multiply these things by one thousand andget a little picture of what is taking place amongGod's people even today.God's angels are ministering spirits, (Heb. 1:14).You may entertain angels unaware, (Heb. 13:2). Allangels don't have wings. Many times angels come inthe form of men. In fact, angels were messengers inthe Bible times. The leaders of the churches werecalled angels, (Rev. 2:1). Angels are messengers today.People today fly through heaven on these large com-mercial jets carrying the gospel overseas. God uses,blood-washed beings to carry the gospel. The Biblesays that in the last days an angel will be flyingthrough the heavens with the everlasting gospel, (Rev.14:6). That is God's messengers today, no doubt, tak-ing the gospel overseas to the heathen lands andaround the world. This gospel must be published toall the world and then the end will come.

The Bible declares that angels will let these lastseven plagues loose upon the earth. No doubt theyare men in their glorified bodies. The angel that talkedto John was his own brethern, a fellow-servant, (Rev.19:10; 22:9).

    29

    17/18

Then what will be next? The gift of miracles hasbegun to operate now. It must be.returned, This gifthas nothing to do with healing of men's bodies. Thisgift covers many other things besides the human body.

This gift will stop the storms, divide the rivers, bring down hail and fire from heaven, and hold backthe rain, (Rev. 11:3-5). What Moses and Elijah had willbe returned to men in our day. What Peter and Paulhad will be given to"men in our time.

We don't say that all the plagues in the last dayswill come because of the gift of miracles being oper-ated. It may not all happen that way, but we knowaccording to Revelation 11:3-5, that some of themwill take place because of that, and we know that iswhat brought the plagues in Moses' day. He stretchedout his rod and saw hail fall. He saw the waters turnto blood. He saw the pestilence come upon the earth. He saw the plagues hit Egypt. He saw Pharaoh's armydrowned in the river and lost. Why couldn't God usemen today, if He wanted to, to even bring forth griev-ous sores upon people; even to turn the water intoblood if men don't repent; even to stretch forth theirhands and cause hail, the size of a hundred poundblock of ice, to fall from heaven? If they don't repentthen, these ministers could withdraw death fromthem and tell them they couldn't die for the space offive months. Why can't man put out his hands in thename of the Lord? He is God's servant. Why can'the stretch forth his hands and say, "That is enough!"Why can't he divide the river of Euphrates at theright time? Why can't he put forth his hands andstart the battle of Armageddon, loose the demonsupon this earth, put forth his hands and say it isenough, and cause the battle of Armageddon to beended? God used Moses to slay Pharaoh's army. Whycan't God use a man today and even put a stop to thebattle of Armageddon, or speak God's word to theworld and tell them that time shall be no longer?

This gift won't be given to sissies and babies. Moses

was prepared for this ministry. He went out of theking's palace and was kept on the backside of thedesert. God may have some men today who will bechased into the wilderness. Elijah was chased intothe wilderness for three and a half years. God willhave some people in the last days that will be chasedinto the wilderness for three and a half years. ReadRevelation the twelfth chapter. Elijah made a prep-

aration. Elijah lived out in the wilderness. His brookdried up. The king chased him. Ahab searched all thenations of the world, seeking his life. This soldier washardened. This .soldier went through maneuvers; then, .he was used onthe front lines. If you are never willingto go through the maneuvers, or the little trials andtests that you go through with now, how can you beable to be used on the front lines? If you are faithfulin that which is little, you will also be faithful inmuch. We are going under sealed orders. God is goingto use us. If we are faithful to Him now in the littlethings we can also be faithful in the big things. Weare going to heaven to serve and not just playa harpand float on a cloud. We will be as angels in heaven. He has made His angels ministering spirits. He sentHis angel forth to shake the jail for Paul and Silas. He sent His angel to turn Peter out of jail. He sentHis angel to smite Herod with worms and slay anarmy of a hundred and eighty-five thousand people. So God has a place for everyone of His children. If weare faithful to Him here, we will also be faithful there. If the devil was cast out of heaven because he rebelled,I am sure God won't let people go to heaven today ifthey rebell against His will and stick their feet in theground and balk like a blue-nosed Missouri mule. Wemust be faithful. We must be yielded to God.

Elijah and Moses listened to God. They talked in-stead of hearing people talk all day. They heard Godtalk instead of listening to the gossip that fills theear of thousands of people. After they listened to God,then when they met people, they could say, "Thus

saith the Lord." They were only channels throughwhich God could work.God had Elijah to do strange things. Elijah broughtfire down upon men and destroyed them who wereseeking his life. Elijah told kings and queens whatto do. Elijah was God's servant and he took the placeof God to men. We are men of like passions. Godwants to use men today. One time He told Elijah, "Gohide thyself." And then when he was filled with God,after he had been alone with God for so long, He saidto Elijah, "Go show thyself." Many people want toshow themselves and never hide themselves. WhenElijah obeyed God after he had hid himself, miraclesof judgment followed. God said, "Study to show thyselfapproved unto God." A lot of people put a periodthere, and they only study to show themselves. You can't be rewarded openly unless you pray insecret, (Matt. 6: 6) . You see God as you hide awaywith Him and read the Bible and meditate upon Hisword. You do not see God in a television. He is notin the "harlots from Hellywood." Lord, in Jesus name, help the men and women today to straighten up andbe strong in the Lord and in the power of His mightand not be babies all their life. Help them to grow upand be men in the Lord. Help them oh God, that theywill be tough and be willing to bear persecutions.Help them to be faithful in the little things and letyou use them in even the smaller things, like in heal-ing, tongues and interpretation. After they are faithfulin these smaller things, may they go forth like menof old, like Caleb, Joshua, Moses, Elijah.Peter and Paul.May they go forth and be used of God in these lastdays even if it is to bring judgment upon the heads ofrebellious people, and cause them to bow down andrepent in the tribulation days. Heavenly Father, inJesus name, help us to prepare ourselves. We willgive you the praise. Amen.
