Remember the Gift

For the gifts and calling of God are without repentance.Romans 11:29

You’ve made so many mistakes. You’ve done some really stupid things. You forget sometimes who you really are.

In the face of provocation, adversity or setback you get sick. You step out of character. You stray from the path.

It takes a while to work your way back to purpose. You get distracted. Conditions of your life overwhelm you and it seems like you will never get done what you’ve been called to do.

Remember this: you may lose your way. You may lose your vision. You may lose your sense of worth. You may even lose your mind. But you will never lose your gift!

God does not take the gift back. It is in your life for a purpose. No matter what state you fall into or where you find yourself on any given day, ultimately the calling will prevail and the gift will live.

Remember the gift you have. He will never call it back.

Do not despair.
