POW TO BOW 2

We have been talking about POWs. A POW is a prisoner of war. Then there is a BOWandthats where we want to get toa believer, an obeyer and a worshiper. We have a wonderful

teaching called Casualties of War. But there is a difference between a casualty and a prisoner.

One is taken captive totally and one is injured. So there are casualties. There are casualtieswhere an individual dies. A prisoner of war is one who is still alive and has been taken captive.

Hes imprisoned. But there are casualties in a warsomeone gets shot and so forth. Somebody

bites the bait. Sometimes individuals have become prisoners of war but God made a way of

escape for them.

This last Sunday the Lord really impressed upon us to press in and kick butt! And as we began

to march around Jericho walls started crumbling down. The Spirit of the Lord came upon me

and just started sharing with me certain things that was happening. Because when I walked intothe sanctuary there was so much oppression that I just wanted to walk out. I saidDaddy I dontwant to minister to people who dont want to know you. Im telling you when I walked into thisplace the oppression was so bad I wanted to just walk out and do something before I came back

in. The Holy Spirit quickened me to change the music right away. We started withIts a NewSeason, which we dont normally do. And the Lord shared with me, Youre prophesying this.You are bringing it in. And he put on my heart that there were POWs, casualties and so forth. Inother words he was saying,I want you to fight for them. I want you to fight and take this land. Iwant you to fight and take the heavenlies. I asked how he wanted to do this. And he said just

like they did in Jericho. So we began marching. We began dancing and marching. During thewhole service we did nothing but march around this whole place. The whole serviceeven in

communion the only thing we did was stop and have communion. Then we began to intercede.During this the Holy Spirit showed me a whirlwind. And the whirlwind went up to theheavenlies and began to push out and punch out principalities and powers of darkness and

wickedness in heavenly placesbegan to just throw them right out!! People were being loosed

in places all over!! He said to me, Guy do you remember why I went down to the tower of

babble? I said yes. He said one of the things that happened at the tower of babble when the

Lord came down and changed everybodys language it was because they were building a tower

to try to get to heaven. They wanted to be like God but there was something that happened.

They were all in one accord. And the Lord said that because they were in one accord nothingwould be withheld from them. He said if you get in one accord, nothing would be withheld from

you! I wont come down and move you out of place!! I will come down and move the powers

of darkness out of place because its according to my will!. Thats where the spirit of unitycomes into effect. Thats why its so important that we continue to deny ourselves and dont get

caught up in offenses. Its important we dont get caught up in all the soulish garbage! What

happened is some people began to sit downthey thought it was over. I just kept saying,No,

keep marching! The Lord began to show meIn this, that was Gideons army. Remember they

had 30,000 and they ended up with 300that kicked butt! He began to share with me how he

wants to train up his people. Not in the arena of going by how you feel. It was powerful. So

that night it was about 11:30 and I wanted to put something in my Spirit before I fell asleep and I

went to go reach for something and I reached for this book. Its kind of like a daily devotional.

And I asked Him where he wanted me to go. And he said to me open to the page associated with

today, which was November 19th. So I opened itI was on fire all day. I was on fire all day andI was finally settling down. It was 11:30 at nighttime to go to sleep. I opened to November

19th and in bold it said fight like a soldier. Praise God! And then it said Thou therefore endure

hardness as a good soldier of Jesus Christ. Now I want to read something to you. In 2 Timothy,Timothy was facing a horrible predicament. Thousands of his brothers and sisters in the Lord

were being slain by a man on the Roman throne named Nero. Of course, satan was behind thisvicious persecution of believers. Infuriated that Jesus had been raised from the dead, the devil

was releasing all the power and fury of hell in his fierce efforts to destroy the church. It is

difficult for us to imagine the persecution and martyrdom the early believers experienced duringthis time period. However, an even greater crisis that Timothy faced were the mass defections

that were taking place. Many people were fleeing the church and returning to the pagan temples

in order to save their lives. The fact is crisiss only serve to reveal the genuineness of peoples

faith. The fires of persecution revealed that many in the early church were not as committed asthey pretended to be. Many forsook the Lord, deserted the faith and went back to their old ways.

Timothy was seeing this take place among the members of his congregation and even amongmany of his leaders. Many of the men and women he thought he could depend on had left. Theydidnt want to be associated with Timothy and the church any longer. Hence, this was a very

very tough time for the Ephesian believers and their pastor. Im not going to go any further but

when I read that I got perked up all over again. Because the Lord had shown me what we did

that day. Because there were those who had defected or had been taken captive in many areas.

Not only those in this fellowship but amongst those who had come through and been takencaptive. Of course, we got confirmation right away because we had two of my sons had been

taken captive and the first one returned right after service that day and the second one was

returned today. Then I got another call from an individual that I hadnt heard from in over a yearand hes in the hospital. He called and wanted to know if he could come back. Im praying

about it. Hes been a POW for a long time. But he called because hes having some kind of

heart surgery and he wanted to know if we would pray for him. Wade and I prayed for himtoday. I am sharing this with you because so many have been taken as POWs and God is making

a way of escape for them. But you know how they are going to escape? By you! They are

going to escape by you! Everyone is waiting on God and God is waiting on you! Remember weare the expression of his hands and his feet. You and I carry the anointing! We carry the

anointing! Let me tell you something, I dont care how many talents you have, those talents are

no good unless they are anointed! I dont care if you are a carpenter or a plumber! I dont care if

you are a singer, piano player or guitar player. I dont care what you are! If those talents are notanointed, they arent doing anything! They are not doing anything but bringing you glory. The

Lord was sharing with me that there are many of his children out there that are playing for Him

but they are not anointed. I have not anointed them for that. Why? He doesnt want them tobring people into that place with him because they arent right yet. There is a place where God

positions you where the anointing is so that you can rescue Gods people! But if those talents are

not anointed by the Lord you do it in the flesh. Then the only thing it does is bring you glory andthose seeds dont remain. So there are many who have been taken captive. There are many

POWs. Every one of us was a prisoner of war. By the prayer of the saints God made a way of

escape from that prison. Do you know what goes on in prison? Torment! Torture. Not

Freedom. Nothing but torment and torture. A person becomes a prisoner of war or a casualty

because of a mistake. Not obeying an order. Out of position. These things arent just because

the devil got a lucky shot! Its because an individual chose to touch something, agreed with

something, prior to captivity. Something happened where the individual walked out of Godswillwalked out of the protection. Something happened. Remember in this flood, these things

are going to be exposed. There is a bigger war coming. And God is going to use this flood to

train up his warriors. But Im telling youYou cant be a weenie! You cant be a wet noodle!You have to hate evil!! You cant compromise anymore. If you compromise, you will get wiped

out! We are at a stage right now where God is preparing. This ministry was to prepare officers

in the body of Christ. Thats the purpose. You are not here to be a benchwarmer. The thingsthat God gives us from his throne roomwhat you have already you can go and open up

churches and preach already. Thats what God has done! He has given me and you everything!

When you are predestined, everything is available to you. Everything! Now the thing is to walk

in them. Thats why Jesus said deny yourself daily! Why? Because when you try and do thingsin your own strength, it just doesnt work. Your intellect will cause you to stumble. The mind of

Christits where people go beyond and misuse their talent. The gift and the talent are to be

utilized by the Spirit. Not by you! So what happens is that when the Holy Spirit uses a talent

you were born with the talent already. There are people who can play music without reading it.Thats a talent, isnt it. There are people that can just pick up stuff and get it while others have to

study for a month to get something they get in a day! There are people that are gifted! Whathappens is that if that gift isnt yielded to the Spirit for the Spirit to use, then an individual

struggles, becomes anxious, fearfultrying to maintain things. When you go beyond the

boundary of yielding to the Spirit to allow him to use the talent and you do it yourself, you have

opened the door to the devil. Thats why we must move with the Spirit. Sometimes we have tomove slowly. Did you ever try to drive somewhere quickly and it seems like no matter what

happens you hit every stinking light! I find with myself that when things of that degree happen

when its out of my control and there are delays and there are certain things I have to do.Gods going to get me there. The next thing you know you just start driving and you dont have

to go double the speed limitmaybe a half. And all of a sudden things fall into place. And

favor. Every light is hit. It seems like cars just move over for you. You will just be praisingGod and will get there right on time. Because we are not doing it in our own strength. The

talent is anointed, no matter what you do to allow God to move. But when you get out and get

ahead of God and you move out of the anointing, you struggle. The first indication that you havemoved out of the anointing is fear. Worry. You had better get right back in. You had better get

right back in because you just stepped out. Did you ever get done paying your billsand two

days later (the bills arent due for another 28 days) and all of a sudden you are worrying about

how youre going to pay your bills. Thats when the Holy Ghost baseball bat should just fly outof the closet and pop you in the head. BAM! What are you worried about tomorrow for? Its

not even here yet! And youre talking 28 days away!! You wont make it on the 28th day. Youll

be taken out beforehand. Why? Because you have walked out of the anointing. Now you aregoing to do it in your own strength. This is how people become POWs. They just walk over to

satan and hand over the keys that Jesus took and asked to be locked up! Well Im telling you

things are changing! God is pouring out the anointing even stronger. He is pouring out a hatredfor evil. He is pouring out a hatred for evilhatred right now is escalating tremendously. With

the spirit of hatred have you noticed that there is a little bit more irritation now? You have to

really beat that down. That is what is escalating through the terrorists and so forth. There is

hatred in the political arena. You see hatred promoted constantly. They are accusing one

anotherhating one another! There are people that actually hate this president and would love

to see him deadin their own country! Now they are talking about removing the pledge of

allegiance. People burning the flag in this country should be executed! If you dont like it thatbad then GET OUT! Forty years ago that would have happened. They would have called it

mutiny. They would call that person a traitor. They would have called that person a communist.

And that person would have been put in prison or executed.

We want to break the captives free by the anointing. Everyone of us were POWs but God made

a way of escape. We want to get to a place where we are a BOW. Now we talked about a fewthings and I want to get right to it here. The bible tells us in Ephesians 25 to make no place for

the devil! Im telling you MAKE NO PLACE FOR THE DEVIL! Thats the first thing that

happens. We live under the sway of the wicked one. That means that the devil is going to get

you to try and make place for him. He will send you as many invitations as he can. He willinvite you to this or thathe will invite you to every worldly function there is that he has for

you. When he showed up to Jesus didnt he invite Jesus to every worldly thing. Lust of the eye,

lust of the flesh and pride of life. So he is going to invite you to all of this. And when he invites

you and you have been in communication with himthen he writes you a letter and it says fear.Satans greatest weapon is deception. So once he gets your attention, you know what he

imparts? Fear. Now there are many levels of fear but Im not going to get into all of that. I justwant to share with you the bible says make no place for the devil. You know when you are

building a fire and you put wood on the fire, you see that the fire gets bigger. Right? What the

devil loves to do is put wood on the fire. And he uses you to put wood on the fire. Jesus comes

with the Holy Ghost anointing and blows that fire out! So that you dont cook or become aprisoner. This is where we have to use wisdom and discernment. This is where it is so important

in fellowship. This is where it is so important in prayer. This is important that you do warfare

every single morning. If there are things happening in your life and all kinds of troublesandIm not talking about attacks. Im talking about self-imposed things. Goofy things that are

happening in your life because there is an open door somewhere. Somewhere along the line you

had made place for the devil. And you can become a POW. And a prisoner of your owntorment. So the first thing is we want to make no place for the devil. Dont be anxious. Wait on

God. We keep saying were letting go and letting God. Trust God!! Okay if one door shuts,

you know a better one is opening. Dont try and struggle and kick the door in and try and blow itup! Let it go! Submit to authority and resist the devil. Submit to God. Too many people are

trying to continue to bust the door because they are caught up in comfort. If you are already

caught up in comfort, you have already made place for the devil. Gods not going to let you get

comfortable. There is not enough time to get comfortable. Hes on the move. Hes a consumingfire!! So the first thing we talked about was to make no place for the devil.

The second thing we talked about in Philippians 2:1-4 which talks about avoiding selfishambitions. Or be anxious for nothing. Avoid selfish ambitions. If what you are doing is going

to promote you, thats a selfish ambition. This is where you have to check a couple of things.

The third thing we talked about in Proverbs 3:5-8, it says to fear God and depart from evil. You

have to know when to depart and know when to fight. And just because you are departing

doesnt mean you have lost the battle, it means you have turned it over. In other words, you have

done what you need to do. I remember when I was a little kid and I was about 8 years old and

was on the tracks and I had caught all these pollywogsthose little things that turn into frogs.

All day long I was around those railroad tracks looking for all these little puddles. I was excited

every time I would find some and I would put them in my little bucket of water. And it wasgetting around dinner time and I was probably supposed to be home soon. Well the next thing I

know this big bully comes up and asks what I had there and stuffI was just a little kid. Well he

kicks over my bucket. And man I was angry. The next thing I know my brother is comingmybigbrother was coming. He was coming to get me for dinner. He shows up and asks what I was

doing and I said, Hes trying to steal my pollywogs. So my brother said a couple of things and

the kid ran away. Well I learned something from that. I learned that when my brother wasaround I could go out and do anything! I could go tease someone--- but I knew when to depart

from evil. I turned it over to my brother, and I took off. I wasnt stupid! But if I knew I could

win the battle, Id do it! But if I knew I couldnt, I would make sure my brother was ten feet

away! Now we have to do that in the Spirit. Theres a time when God says depart from evil!And it doesnt mean you lost the battle, it means you turned it over! This is where the devil

comes in and says, You lost that battle. Then pride kicks in and says,No Im not going to losethat battle!! Im going to fight!!! And then youre going to get your butt kicked because he just

sucked you in the ring.

The fourth thing we talked aboutpride will always blind your discernment. When you dontknow what to doyou get into a place of what am I going to do? Instead of waiting on the

clarity you try to maneuver without hearing, without being led and you dont know what decision

to make and you end up grasping the air. The reason is because you are protecting yourself. So

pride will always blind your discernment. Thats what causes mistakes.

The fifth thing we talked aboutresist the devil continuously! Not just once. Let me tell you

when you resist the devil with that first voice he hits you with, that doesnt mean the battle isover! You could take two other steps and the next thing you know another demon will show up!

If he cant hit you with that one, he will try another. He tempted Jesus three times. What makes

you think he will only tempt you once and then its over with. No! And if you have made placefor him, he is going to keep going after you, and going after you, and going after youuntil you

surrender. As a soldier of Jesus Christ you NEVER surrender. You die beforehand. You die

before you surrender! I am talking about dying to yourself. You die before you surrender. Wemust refuse to bow to satans devices. You first must learn his devices.

LUKE 8:11-15

Now we are going to talk about the sixth thing. Jesus is expressing a parable. A parable is aparallel between the spirit realm and the natural realm. Because Jesus used to speak with vision.

He spoke in imagery. He always gave people a picture. Because they could not understand the

things of the spirit so everything in the spirit realm that was going on, he would speak it andexpress a story in the natural realm so they could understand the things of the spirit. Its called a

parable but its actually a parallel. Did you ever hear the saying a picture is worth a thousand

words? So here he saysverse 11,Now the parable is this: The seed is the word of God.

Those by the wayside are the ones who hear; then the devil comes and takes away the word out

of their hearts, lest they should believe and be saved. Or be rescued. But the ones on the rockare those who, when they hear, receive the word with joy; and these have no root, who believe

for a while and in time of temptation fall away. Because they are not grounded. Now the ones

that fell among thorns are those who, when they have heard, go out and are choked with cares,riches, and pleasures of life, and bring no fruit to maturity. But the ones that fell on the good

ground are those who, having heard the word with a noble and good heart (in other words,humble), keep it and bear fruit with patienceand endurance. Patience is endurance. So the

sixth thing we must be careful of are the cares of this world. The enemy always brings you to an

arena where he shoots in your mind old friends, old places, old things. What you used to have.Oh I remember the days when I had my bicycle it was a Cadillac bicyclehad curb feelers

on it. And it had double headlights. The devil loves to bring you to the things that you used to

have that brought pleasure to your flesh. Thats why the cares of the worldthe devil willalways use this in competition. See what so and so has? You know you could have had that too!

You could have had that too if you had chosen not to follow Jesus. You could have had that tooif you chose not to become a disciple. You could have had that too if you had chosen not to

come to the discipleship house and learn about the things of God. You could have chosen to

have all these things but you chose God. Now look at everybody else. You cant allow the

devil to impart that. Once you have agreed with it and you have touched it, he has already put a

hook in your jaw! You may have just shrugged it off but dont know the hook is still there. I

went bass fishing by mistake a few times. Do you know those shinersthey use these silvershiners. I went out bass fishing with this guy one time and he was using this silver shiner. He

pulled them out of this bucket and Im thinking, Did we fish already? Did we already catch

these? Where was I? They were big fish. He said they were going to use them as bait. I said,

Bait? Lets take them home and cook them!! He explained they were shiners and were for large

mouth bass. So he puts this shiner in and it takes right off. Then you see the pole just bend right

over and I said, Man you better pull that out!!! He said,No you never pull it right away. You let

it run with it! Thats what the devil does with us. You dont even know the hook is there, you

thought you just shrugged it off but you didnt go deep enough into the spirit and sever it! See

there is more than just repentance. Now you have to renounce it and break that tie! Because ifyou dont renounce it and break that tie the hook is still therethe string is still there. You just

dont know it! What happens then is everything begins to fall into place and you are thinking

you are doing good and there comes a big eventfamilies together, wonderful things happening.Its the day of your wedding. Its the day of a graduation. Its the day of a birthday. Its some

eventits the day you are supposed to go and preach for the first time! Its the day you have

been invited to give a testimony in another church. Then the devil pulls the rug right out fromunder you and you blow it! He takes you out and it has a ripple effect. And it effects everyone

around you. Its because even though you knew it and you repented but you didnt renounce and

sever it! The word repent means to turn from it. That person is actually a prisoner of war and

doesnt even know it. They have been taken captive and dont know it. Then its exposed. Thenhe just pulls that hook and we fall, we blow it, we dont show up, something happens. Whatever

and we bring shame to ourselves and to the name of the Lord. That all just starts with the

cares of the world. One little care of the world will move you out of place!

One of the other things that hit a lot of people are insecurities. Insecurities and insecure

individualsthe word insecure is associated with fear. Its just another label. An individualwith insecurities is a person who has been beaten down and put down, abandoned, hasnt

succeeded but has been told youve got to succeed to be somebody. A person who has always

been dependent, dependent, dependent on someone for fulfillmentthen the person leaves and

the individual who was dependent on the one who left is insecure. It opens the door to fear.

Insecurity is associated with fear. That is making a place for the devil. Insecurities are

associated with fear. And its a demon.

PSALM 1:1-3

Blessed is the man who walks not in the counsel of the ungodlyIn other words, he doesnt take

counsel from a demon. Nor stands in the path of sinnersDoesnt associate with those who arewalking according to the will of satan. Nor sits in the seat of the scornfulwhich is one that

cant keep his mouth shutget away! One that grumbles and complains, is not grateful and

doesnt appreciate. Take your sock off and put it in his mouth! Do you know what that person isdoing? Imparting corruptible seeds! Do you know whats happening? The devil is behind that

person and he is telling that person, Here put your hand in this bucketand plant these seeds!

And that person is blind because of pride. Because pride blinds discernment. It cant discern

what bucket they will take the seed out ofwhether its the righteous or the unrighteous. Thatswhy we are to resist ungodly counsel and forgive. But his delight is in the law of the LORDIn

other words, the law of the Lord says, Im willing to submit. Im willing to do whatever it takes!

Why? Because I want to please God no matter what!! The law of the Lord says deny yourself,

pick up your cross and follow Jesus. The law of the Lord says repent and forgive. Give anddont ask anything back. The law of the Lord says put a guard over your lips and your tongue.And in His law he meditates day and night. In other words, his heart is to fulfill the law or tohave the heart of Christ in them. Here is the result of it, verse 3. He shall be like a tree planted

by the rivers of water, That brings forth its fruit in its season, Whose leaf also shall not wither;And whatever he does shall prosper. So if he does take counsel, if he does hang around with

sinnersSome of you are still fellowshipping with some brothers and sisters who you knowarent walking right and they are not doing the will of God and because you are soul-tied to them

you cant shake it. You need to break that soul-tie! But hes a believer! I dont care if he is a

believer or not, you need to break that soul-tie. Anything thats an idol, you need to break thattie. Some of you need to break those soul-ties to your animals. We are to resist ungodly counsel

and forgive. If you obey those three principalstake Godly counsel, dont hang around with or

be unevenly yoked with unbelievers and put a guard over your mouth and your tongue, whateveryou do will prosper! Its really simple.

JOHN 14:6

Jesus said to him, I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except

through Me. I want to explain something to you because we are talking about BOWs a BOW

is a believer, an obeyer and a worshipper. Jesus said I am the way, truth and life and the reason

he said I am the way truth and life is because there was a tabernacle that was manifested from theSpirit realm to the natural realm. In the tabernacle there are three chambers. The outer court, the

Holy Place and the Most Holy Place. The outer court was where the sacrifice was. The Holy

Place was where the furniture was, which is a representation of truth. The Most Holy Place waswhere the Ark of the Covenant was which was where the Spirit was. So Jesus is saying I am the

way, truth and life. Way represents belief. B in BOW. TruthO - obey because you have

to obey the truth. And life is the worship in the spirit W. So you want to be a BOW insteadof a POW. That means you have to believe, which means to follow. You have to obey, which

means to submit. And you have got to worship, which brings relationship in the Spirit. Worship

brings the anointing too. Thats where the anointing is.

MARK16:16-18

You will know by the fruit where you are at and whats going on. You will know by the fruit.

You will know the voice by the fruit. You will know your response by the fruit. You will knowyour thoughts by the fruit. You will know your words by the fruit. You will know everything by

the fruit as to where you are at. If you dont know, everyone else does. Just ask somebody!

Theyll tell you! Verse 16,He who believes and is baptized will be saved; but he who does notbelieve will be condemned. And these signs will follow those who believe: In My name they will

cast out demons; they will speak with new tongues; they will take up serpents; and if they drinkanything deadly, it will by no means hurt them; they will lay hands on the sick, and they will

recover. That means to take authority. You are taking authority! This is for everyone!!

Everyone is supposed to be casting out devils! Everybody!!! The first person you need to cast

them out of is you!! You can cast out your own devils. How are you going to tell whether you

have one or not? By the fruit. Whats your response? What is coming out of your mouth! Whatare your thoughts? What are you struggling with that you cant shake? That means there is a

hook in your jaw. That means a devil is there! And he has that string attached to a hook and he

is just waiting . Come on Go to your jobget promoted. Come on I will wait until you

get to be president before I pull it. I will wait until you are marrieduntil you are reconciledIll wait. Im telling youhe waits! And then he pulls it! Hallelujah.

1 PETER1:22-23

Since you have purified your souls in obeyingobeying. First we were believingMark 16 is

what?believe! That gives you authority. Now we are talking about obeying, which does

purifying. Obeying the truth through the Spirit in sincere love of the brethren, love one another

fervently with a pure heart, having been born again, not of corruptible seed but incorruptible,through the word of God which lives and abides foreverSo we see that we have just gone from

Mark 16 in believe, which means to follow. And we have gone to 1 Peter 1 which representsobey. The bible even tells us that obedience is better than sacrifice. So when the devil does all

these whoa is me on youYou dont know what Ive gone through . Jesus does. They lose

sight. Everybody wants to tell everybody else what theyve gone through. Jesus knows whatyou went through. So that means he is making a way of escape.

PSALM 95:1-11

Oh come, let us sing to the LORD! Let us shout joyfully to the Rock of our salvation. Let us

come before His presence with thanksgiving; Let us shout joyfully to Him with psalms. For theLORD is the great God, And the great King above all gods. In His hand are the deep places of

the earth; The heights of the hills are His also. The sea is His, for He made it; And His hands

formed the dry land. Oh come, let us worship and bow down; Let us kneel before the LORD our

Maker. For He is our God, And we are the people of His pasture, And the sheep of His hand.Today, if you will hear His voice: Do not harden your hearts, as in the rebellion, as in the day

of trial in the wilderness, When your fathers tested Me; They tried Me, though they saw My

work. For forty years I was grieved with that generation, And said, It is a people who go astrayin their hearts, And they do not know My ways. So I swore in My wrath, They shall not enter

My rest. Every time the Jews disobeyed or were disobedient in history, they went into

captivity. Thats why they were in the wilderness40 years. Well that happens with Gods

children now. When a believer disobeys God, they go into captivity and they become POWs.

The first place they go into captivity is in the mind. Thats where the deception isthe

anxiousness, grumbling, complaining, manipulation, false motives and all kinds of things begin

to happen. The second thing to go into captivity is the physical. They go into the wilderness. In

the wilderness are dry deserts. And they begin to beg for water and food. Why? Because theyare dry and unfruitful. Their whole purpose is to survive now. They are living to survive. They

are not fruitful. Those two things happen: captivity in the mind and captivity in the physical.

There are two areas we must check constantly. Number 1, motives. What is your motive? Andnumber 2, what is your purpose? In other words, what you see. Everybody can seeevery time

you make a decision you see. You see the result, or you see the present. Motives are before you

make the decision. Purpose is for after you make the decision. Motive is before. Purpose isafter. If you dont have a pure motiveif you are in manipulation, then you have made place for

the devil. If your purpose is selfish. Or something thats not associated with what God has

asked you to do, then it is making place for the devil. Why? Because if the motive and the

purpose are associated with anything of ungodliness, there are always lies, manipulation anddeception. Truth is never associated with it. Truth is never associated with impure motives.

Why? Because there is always deception there. And of course there is always pride there.

Why? Because pride blinds discernment. Those are two areas we always must check.

MARK1:12-15; 32-34

Immediately the Spirit drove Him into the wilderness. And He was there in the wilderness forty

days, tempted by Satan, and was with the wild beasts; and the angels ministered to Him. See

Jesus went into the wilderness for forty days to fulfill what they couldnt do in forty years.

Why? Because they were grumbling and complaining and whatever. Verse 14, Now after John

was put in prison [that means your old man, the carnal man], Jesus came to Galilee, preaching

the gospel of the kingdom of God, and saying, The time is fulfilled, and the kingdom of God isat hand. Repent, and believe in the gospel. The word gospel means message of truth. We see

here that the kingdom of God was being manifested. Go down to verse 32,At evening, when the

sun had set, they brought to Him all who were sick and those who were demon-possessed. And

the whole city was gathered together at the door. Then He healed many who were sick withvarious diseases, and cast out many demons; and He did not allow the demons to speak, because

they knew Him. Thats what God wants with you. He wants the demons to know you. And not

to know you because they can get a full course meal. Or a place to stay for the night. To know

you, because they fear you! Thats the kingdom of God being manifested. When the kingdomof God is being manifested in your life, the demons know you. God is now sending you to set

the captives free who are POWs. Why? Because you are a BOW! A believer, obeyer and

worshipper. And it takes training!

PROVERBS 28:20-28

It takes discipline. Out of the word discipline comes the word disciple. Verse 20,A faithful manwill abound with blessings, But he who hastens to be rich will not go unpunished. To show

partiality is not good, Because for a piece of bread a man will transgress. A man with an evil

eye hastens after riches, And does not consider that poverty will come upon him. He whorebukes a man will find more favor afterward Than he who flatters with the tongue. Whoever

robs his father or his mother, And says, It is no transgression, The same is companion to a

destroyer. He who is of a proud heart stirs up strife, But he who trusts in the LORD will beprospered. He who trusts in his own heart is a fool, But whoever walks wisely will be delivered.

He who gives to the poor will not lack, But he who hides his eyes will have many curses. When

the wicked arise, men hide themselves; But when they perish, the righteous increase. So you and

I have to get rid of this wickedness, dont we. We have to expose the devil. Cast him out. Get

rid of him. Fools lose sight of a pure motive and purpose. They lose sight of the pure motiveand the pure purpose. They lose sight of where they came from.

LUKE 12:42-48And the Lord said, Who then is that faithful and wise steward, whom his master will make ruler

over his household, to give them their portion of food in due season? So many people want to be

rewarded nowwhen you havent finished what God has asked you to first do. You wont berewarded. Why? Because when you move out of place the talent is no longer anointed. Let me

tell you, if you stay in position you wont become a POW as long as you stay a BOW. In that the

talent will be anointed. And you will move and flow according to the will of God and not

according to yourself. And you will be rewarded. Many times the devil will come and rewardyou and you will think its God. But its not and its a set up. But you wont know that because

pride will blind your discernment. Thats why you have to step back and wait. Thats why you

have to test all things. Oh, man this looks like God!!! Its a wonderful opportunity!!! It has to

be God!!! How do you know youre not getting set up? Weve done it before! How many timeshave you quit a job thinking that this was what and whatever? How many times have you

purchased something? How many times have you gotten into a relationship believing it wasGod? And you got set up! Fear cameId better move on it or I will miss it!!!! Then its not

God. You know right away! Why? Because fear is not a fruit of the Spirit. Why settle for good

when you can have best. Verse 43,Blessed is that servant whom his master will find so doing

when he comes. Truly, I say to you that he will make him ruler over all that he has. But if that

servant says in his heartNobody can see me! Im okay. But if that servant says in his heart

Oh God will just forgive meMy master is delaying his coming, and begins to beat the male

and female servants, and to eat and drink and be drunk, the master of that servant will come on

a day when he is not looking for him, and at an hour when he is not aware, and will cut him in

two and appoint him his portion with the unbelievers. So obviously he was a believer. And thatservant who knew his masters will, [and knew what to do] and did not prepare himself or do

according to his will, shall be beaten with many stripes. But he who did not know, yet committed

things deserving of stripes, shall be beaten with few. For everyone to whom much is given [he is

talking about talents] from him much will be required; and to whom much has been committed,

of him they will ask the more. What we have been given, we are accountable for. We have been

given quite a bit in this place. There is enough in each and every one of us to change the world.

It only takes one soul at a time. Thats all it takes. Id like to get a bunch at one time!! But it

only takes one soul at a timeone person that sees that you are a BOW, who is a POW and theywill want to become a BOW. Because they will want to know what you have. Even the ungodly

can see fruit. They see it. They see. And God knows whats going on behind closed doors. So

nothing is hidden. So repent, renounce and get back in positionand become a BOW! Becomethat new creation in Christ today and let old things pass away and let all things become new.

Become a worshipper. An obeyer. A believer. And let the anointing on the talent do the work

and not you. Why struggle! Why fight!! Im telling youonce fear hits you know its notGod!!!! You have to back off and wait on the Lord then.
