Pottstown Designer ReceivesAwards at International Conference
Barbara McInnis Hayman was awarded:
Third Place in the window treatmentcategory for a stunning design of a window treatment in a Local Douglassvillekitchen. She explained that her design featured a natural woven wood treatmentwith matching woven wood valancepaired with soft Roman shades in a patterned gray fabric. The woven woodvalance is accented with a branding of thegray fabric to create a gorgeous treatmentagainst the grays, creams and soft hues ofthe eat-in kitchen.
She was also awarded Second Placein the People’s Choice voting for a foyer featuring a beautiful blue Wallcovering.An elegant black lacquered chest andstately brass lamps helps to give this tiny foyer a huge impact and provides awow factor for arriving guests to thePottstown home.
This was the company’s 34th AnnualInternational Dream Room Awards com-petition. Judging was done by journalistsfrom across the US and Canada whowrite about Interiors for such publicationsas Traditional Home, House Beautiful,Design NY, the Canadian magazineArabella and for national syndication andregional publications. Winners wereselected based on their design excellence,creative problem-solving and overall presentation. The People’s Choice votingreceived over 30,000 votes.
Mcinnis Hayman also received aDirectors Award for 2017 sales that puther among the top 25 percent in the company which is North America‘s largesthome furnishings and interior design franchise business.
“I’ve returned from conference with anextensive library of before and after high-resolution digital photographs featuringroom makeovers from this year’s DreamRoom competition,” McInnis Hayman said.“They are fabulous designs with interestingstories behind them making for an idealworkshop or seminar program for organizations looking for a speaker for theirmeetings,” she added.
