Dialysis fluid filter optionThe dialysis fluid filter option is used to significantly improve thequality and purity of the dialysis fluid delivered by the dialysismachine. In an additional filtration stage, the dialysis fluid ispumped through the Diacap® Ultra dialysis fluid filter to filterand absorb any microbial impurities from the dialysate.

Obviously, treatment with ultrapure dialysis fluid has clinicaladvantages. Chronic inflammatory processes triggered by pyrogen impurities (cytokine-induced formation of interleukin,TNF, �2-microglobulin amyloidosis etc.) are markedly reduced.This reduction is associated with a positive effect on the pati-ent's general, nutritional and cardiovascular status.

The dialysis fluid filter option lets you significantly improve thequality of the dialysis treatment. Consequently, you promotepatient's health and extend their life expectancy. Option HDF OnlineWith the Dialog+ Online version, you can carry out high-volumehemodiafiltration with substitution solutions manufactured bythe dialysis machine online. Combining diffusive and convective clearance improves the elimination of small and medium-sized molecules. Likewise, HDFOnline is also suitable for patients with unstable cardiovascularstatus who tend to experience a strong drop in blood pressureeven at low ultrafiltration volumes.

A variety of options: Three single-needle procedures

In patients with multimorbidity and vascular problems, the indication for permanent single-needle (SN) dialysis is being rendered more and more frequently. Hence, the SN cross-overfeature delivers a continuous SN treatment to achieve the highest efficiency. With Dialog+, three SN procedures are possible: SN-KK, SN valve, SN cross-over.

The unique SN cross-over procedure: This pressure-pressure driven double pump SN system is one of a kind. Compared to conventional SN systems, it helps maintain continuous blood flowand relatively constant pressure conditions in the dialyzer.Operation involves simply setting the blood pump rate and adjusting the pressure limits. Afterwards, the settings are storedon Dialog+ therapy cards.

Transparency with Kt/V graphics

As a reliable and no-cost method for monitoring treatment quality, Dialog+ continually calculates the Kt/V throughout therapy. The operator automatically receives a graphic displayof the Kt/V profile and an indication about how close it is tothe target. bioLogic RR® Comfort requires virtually no adjustment effort. All the settings required by the medical staff are limited to setting the lower systolic blood pressure limit and the maximumUF rate.
