Choosing A Potash Cooler:

Rotary Cooler or

Fluid Bed Cooler?

Cooling potash can be carried out in

either a rotary cooler, or fluid bed

cooler, but rotary coolers are

considered a more robust choice.

Rotary coolersare prized for their high throughput, heavy-

duty build, and ability to accept variability

in feedstock conditions.

Fluid bed coolers are valued for their smaller footprint, and

modular capacity ideal for operational

growth. However, they cannot accept

variance in feedstock.

Conclusion:

Potash cooling offers many benefits to the

end product, as well as to the processing

operation. Both rotary coolers and fluid bed

coolers are a suitable choice for a potash
