Postgraduate Children and Childhood Network Seminar presented by a research student for research students: 'Decision making in child protection conferences where there are concerns about neglect - a qualitative study’ This talk will be presented by Helen Richardson Foster, an experienced graduate student with the University of Sheffield. As a social researcher Helen has a background in research with children and families. Her research interests include child protection, family support, parenting and domestic violence. She has several publications and has worked on a range of projects, including a project looking at the responses of police and children’s services to families experiencing domestic violence, funded by the NSPCC. Please join us in welcoming Helen in the Lounge in the Staff Club on Thursday 1st March at 4pm . There will be the opportunity for questions and discussion of this research and of Helen’s general experiences in the field.
