Hi everyone
Hope you are all well, staying home and staying safe
Keep sending in your competition entries. The competition is to design a
poster with the theme of “safe” or “NHS” or “hope”. Your child can colour
anything they wish – at the moment, topically we have our NHS superhe-
roes, rainbow of hope, handwashing etc. etc. We love how much families
are doing together so if it is something you want to do with your child,
even better. Please send a photograph of your child holding their poster
into the [email protected] account by 28th April. Winners will
be announced on that week’s newsletter. If possible, we are going to try
and put a video clip together of all entries so please let me know if you do
not wish a photograph of your child to be included in the video.

I’m still going into school and doing checks. And
it’s still very strange and very quiet. Though few
school friends are up to no good. Good job I’m
checking up on them. Gruffalo keeps moving
about, think he’s missing you all and is also mak-
ing most of foundation area. The teddy bears in
foundation have been busy too sending a lovely
message. Stay home, stay safe.
Miss Carnaby.
Hope you are all safe, well and keeping active.
I’m still doing my PE with Joe every morning, it’s
my big kick start to the day. I’ve been getting out
in garden painting fences, sheds. Jet washing
everything in sight. We’ve had some fabulous
weather which is helping lockdown no end let’s
hope it stays for another 2 weeks. Go out for my
daily exercise, still see few of you out there. Look
forward to my dancing in the street on Sunday
evenings at 7 and it’s lovely to see few of the
children dancing, clapping and laughing in the
street.
Hello Everyone
I have also made my first cushion cover
which I'm quite proud of it as it's only the
second time I have used a sewing ma-
chine and decided whilst I'm at home I
will try and make a few things. I made
lots of m is takes and broke
two needles, but hopefully I will get bet-
ter,
Stay safe
Mrs Furmage.
I have been baking since we have
been off making a different cake each
week. So far a chocolate cake, an East-
er cake, a banana and chocolate chip
bread and some rock cakes (they are
Mr Furmage's favourites I have shared
these with my family by leaving parcels
at their doors and they all said they en-
joyed eating them.
Hi everyone,
The last two weeks I have been very
busy working from home, and also I've
been at the Vale looking after keywork-
er children and its been lovely to see
them. It's great reading the newsletter
and to see what exciting things you
have been doing.

Hi everyone
Hope you are all safe and well, hope you are all finding
lots of things to do.
I have been busy with my homework (training) that Mrs Hatton set for us ( YES I DID SAY
HOMEWORK!) but I have been very busy and productive here at home too, more gar-
dening, cycling, and walking my two dogs. I even built a bird box!
I have been in work this week and it was lovely to see Molly and Jack we had a walk
round the field (Vale) we did a challenge and the aim was to get faster each day. I
had a lovely phone call from Erin who was telling me all about the things she has been
doing to keep safe and well.
I loved reading the Newsletter and the photos you send in, keep safe and well, looking
forward to reading more, See you soon Mrs Britcliffe.

Hello Everyone,
I hope everyone is still keeping busy in their
homes and getting fresh air and exercise and
doing a little bit of school work!
Last week I had a holiday week, so I spent
lots of time gardening and doing jobs for this
season – lots of Spring Cleaning inside my
house! I spent a lot of time cooking and bak-
ing, because when we are busy at school Mr
Clark prepares most evening meals ready for
me getting home from school in an evening!
Charlotte and Isabel have taken turns cooking
too, so Mr Clark really is getting a break!
Last week I should have enjoyed a trip to Lon-
don with my mum, dad and sisters and we
were going to enjoy afternoon tea at the Ritz
Hotel. As we couldn’t go we made our own
little afternoon teas at home, then video mes-
saged each other and spent a lovely hour to-
gether over the computer!
I am really enjoying the beautiful weather we
are having and have managed to find time to
do some running again as well as doing Joe
Wicks every day since our time at home be-
gan. I have even taken part in some golf put-
ting challenges with my family – it could be-
come a new hobby!
All of my family completed the 5km challenge
(some of us running some cycling) which we
were set by other family members. We contin-
ue to join the clapping every Thursday, for
those caring and working hard, as do many
people in Worlaby from the sound of it!
I also managed to spend lots of last week
reading and read 5 of our reading strategy
books from school. I loved Street Child so I
was very excited to read in Mrs Burman’s
newsletter that she has bought the book about
Jim’s two sisters – I will be at the front of the
queue to borrow that. I was most impressed
by Black Powder, as I didn’t think I was going
to enjoy it because I’m not a huge historian.
However, I was thoroughly gripped by Tom
and Cressida’s adventures and kept trying to
predict what would happen next; sometimes I
was correct, sometimes not!
I have seen a few of you around the village
and it was lovely to say hello because I do
miss you all.
Please take care and most importantly stay
safe,
Mrs Clark
Hi everyone,
I really loved seeing what some of you have been doing
last week in the newsletter, in fact it brought a little tear to
my eye – it really does seem like ever such a long time
since I saw you all. You look as though you have been very
busy!! Great to hear you are working through your home
leaning pack Jack - I hope you are enjoying the activities
in there!
I have been quite busy cleaning and tidying our house this
week – I watched a program which had lots of little tips
about how to clean different areas in your home using
things like lemon juice and bicarbonate of soda and since
then I have been on a mission to try it out!
I do feel so much better after a good sort out though so I
have been doing that for a few minutes every day as well!
On another note, I think I might have even learned how to
floss (dance move!!!!!!!) although I can’t be sure I am do-
ing it right but you can tell me when we get back to
school!
In other top secret news, Mr Hanly is busy building a swing
for Eddie and Elena to play with in the back garden but it
is a surprise so shhhh – I’ll send you a photo of it when it is
all finished!
I’ve also been cooking again this week and made, for the
first time ever…lemon curd! Do any of you like lemon curd.
I have been working on finishing some online learning
tasks this week and putting some ideas together for
some new provision activities for our outdoor area when
we get back! Miss Turney and I have been sending lots of
e-mails to one another too about what we can do to
help you with your next steps in learning. I hope you are
enjoying your home learning packs!
Love from Mrs Hanly xxx
