Flatplan for Poster

Before constructing the poster, I made a rough flat-plan to aid me in the construction of it. I had a rough ideas as to where I was going to place the features on my poster. I decided to place the image in the centre to make the overall poster eye-catching.

Initial IdeasInitially, we thought of using a weird font from 1001 fonts.com however, after getting some feedback from my target audience, they suggested that it looked quite distorted and it was rather distracting. So we decided to change this and keep the title simple yet effective.

Gaining feedback from my target audience, I leant that the word ‘Jerusalem’ on the crucifix was not relevant and there I used clone tool on Photoshop to get rid of it my cloning the colour of the wood and placing it on top.

This is our final poster. The layout was carefully chosen as we used minimal text along with a powerful image. All the fonts used are from Photoshop and all image manipulations have also been done on Photoshop. However, after gaining target audience feedback, I was able to identify a couple of mistakes which was the effective use of space as there are some gaps which may not be too clear yet they may be a little distracting.
