How to begin◦ Find your passion◦ Develop relationships with organizations that
work on the issues you are passionate about ◦ Make a short list of organizations that you would
like to work for (research the reputation of the organizations)
◦ Approach these organizations and find out if they are willing to host a fellow (this may require educating the org as to requirements)

Have an idea of the type of project that you are interested in developing

Collaboratively work with the organization to design a project that fits with the mission (of the organization) and your interests
