1 About the Asia Pacific MedTech Forum 2015
Organized by the Asia Pacific Medical Technology
Association (APACMed), the Asia Pacific MedTech
Forum 2015 was the region’s first event of its kind for
the medical devices and diagnostics industry. It was
held at Singapore’s Raffles City Convention Centre on
10th to 11th December 2015. A pre-conference
workshop for Small and Medium-Sized Enterprises
(SME’s) was held on 9th December.
The theme of the conference was “Pioneering a
Healthy Future Together” – Raising standards of care
for patients in Asia Pacific through better access,
innovation and collaboration. The main two-day event
brought together stakeholders, policymakers,
healthcare professional and senior executives from the
medical technology industry to share best practices and
gain insights aimed at inspiring collaboration and action
across the region.
Participants had the opportunity to network and
engage with speakers through a series of panel
sessions, CEO roundtables and more.
The Asia Pacific MedTech Forum 2015 also marked the
launch of the APACMed supported McKinsey whitepaper
entitled “MedTech in Asia – Committing at scale to raise
standards of care for patients”.
