    Possibilities for ICT in Irish

It is clear from in the increase in need and use for ICT that it would be a lot hrun a school without the introduction of ICT.

Almost every teacher works off a PowerPoint presentation or has previously tnotes which have been printed off for the students.

ICT, I believe, has now become paramount in teaching.

It has become second nature to us, so it may prove very difficult to deliver a

Junior Cert Irish students without using a video to keep them entertained. I do not think this is a bad thing, it is important to keep the students active an

    interested.

If technology is what the students are interested in, then why not take that oand use it to your advantage.

    Possibilities for ICT in PE

It is important as a PE teacher to be organised and prepared for your lessonsWalls are great for this.

But with the new technology, Electronic Learning Walls may be the best way to orgyourself and keep everything on file together.

It may also happen that you are put into a lesson to teach a topic you may familiar or comfortable with.

In this case, video demonstrations may be exactly what you need for the class to ru

Peer teaching will also be made very easy with video analysis. This will allow students to get a hands on experience of learning the skills.

You really learn a skill when you must teach it.

Peer teaching would ideally solidify what that students are learning in the class

    Examples for Teaching PE

If you are confident in the class and believe that they would be able to carrtask, get the students to download apps such as MapMyRun and get the to tasks themselves at home and track their progress.

Give students projects to come up with dance routines which they must filmown time and present to the class as a video display.

This should improve their ICT and interpersonal skills from working in the group.
