LEARNED ABOUT PBIS…NOW HOW

WILL I

WE USE OUR DATA TO MAINTAIN SUPPORT, CONSISTENCY, AND TRANSPARENCY!

ASSISTANT PRINCIPAL/BEHAVIOR SPECIALIST/PBIS COACH: will provide a monthly via Google Docs spreadsheet. The report will be broken down by grade level, category, and location/time. All staff should meet to discuss the discipline data and develop plans of action to address students’ behavior in order to maximize their productivity.

PBIS TEAM: Select teachers/support staff comprise the PBIS Team. They facilitate House Meetings and share both the discipline data for the month, but also staff survey responses.

MONTHLY STAFF SURVEY: All staff will have the opportunity to respond to the survey and provide comments prior to the 4th Wednesday CLT meeting. PBIS reps will review the responses with staff.

THE PBIS TEAM has created PBIS lessons that will be conducted during the first month of school.

EXPECTATIONS ASSEMBLIES take place during the first week of school by the Admin Team to reinforce school-wide expectations.

A system of acknowledgement that is implemented consistently across campus.

Acknowledgements are linked to expectations and matched to students’ interests

Ratios of acknowledgement/reinforcement to corrections are HIGH Teachers and staff will use immediate and specific praise Students that demonstrate adherence to rules and routines will be
