Welcome to the February/March/April edition of the Positive Ageing Together
newsletter!
We hope you had a wonderful Christmas and wish
you all the best for the New Year to come. The first
edition of the Positive Ageing Together newsletter
is full of activities to keep you busy from February
right through to April when the Easter Bunny will
make another appearance.
We have teamed up with Frankston City Councils,
Art and Culture department to bring you a range of
activities inspired by the annual Ventana Fiesta
occurring throughout the city during February and
March.
On Wednesdays throughout February and March
you are invited to be part of the Ventana
Community Workshops. These workshops will give
you the opportunity to be part of the behind the
scenes creative work that is required to produce an
authentic South American Murga Carnival! You will
learn the dances, songs, acting and crafts that will
be in the parade and will be able to make your own
costumes and props.
Check out page 5 for
more information.
In February we are
holding an
interactive
information session
that will provide you
with the tools you
need to help you identify what is important to you
as you age. See page 3 for more information.
Kind regards, Carly (9784 1046)
