QlAexpressProtein Purification Made Simple

The QlAexpress System makes expression and puri-fication of recombinant proteins simple. How simple? With the system, you can efficiently purify proteins:

QlAexpress bacterial expression system, or any otherexpression system you choose. You are now ready to takeadvantage of the purification power of Ni-NTA resin.

* in just one step.* from dilute solutions.* from inclusion bodies.* under native/denaturing conditions. The system uses the strong interactionbetween histidine and Ni2+ ions for puri-fication of recombinant proteins by metalchelate chromatography.QIAGEN's exclusive Ni-NTA resin isspecially designed to bind Ni2+ ions moretightly than other metal chelating resins, and brings you enhanced purificationpower and binding capacity.Simply add a 6xHis tag to the N- orthe recombinant protein sequence using

The latest addition to the QlAexpresssystem is our new Ni-NTA Spin Kit forprotein minipreparation. Use it to quicklyscreen clones for expression, or to purify

__ small amounts of protein._ And QlAexpress is more than just a great

way to express and purify proteins. The6xHis tag is small, poorly immunogenic,

GenotypingFast * Economical * Confidential

With the opening of the Research Genetics Genotyping Center, allinvestigators now have access to high throughput genotyping without havingto give up control of their work. Typical genotyping projects involvinghundreds of markers can be completed in under 60 days. Complete resultsincluding both the raw genotyping data and computer files suitable for useby linkage software are provided.

To support this new center, we have produced over 1,400 different dye-labeled microsatellite markers for use on the Applied Biosystems Model373 Sequencer. A genome wide screening set, made up of a subset of thesemarkers, is currently being tested. Even finer mapping can be performedusing isotopically labeled markers from our selection of over 4,000 humanmicrosatellite markers or custom markers may be developed.

Prices range from $2.50 to$3_$350 per genotype dependingon the project. There is a setupfee of $10 perDNA sample tocover quantitating, aliquoting, initial testing and archiving.
