This PowerPoint Presentation will provide an overview of the position shift that helped create the person that I am today.

Before: child ignorant self-living innocent un-knowing

During: learning exhausted overwhelmed absorbent (of skills) practicing

Life was a likeday at the beach.

After: accomplished matured accountable responsible leader role model friend asset

Communicating the Shift: I became a leader. People noticed that my work ethic was

improving. I was always there to help when needed. I never complained about working. I helped the younger/ less experienced

employees around me. Because I constantly double checked my

work, I didn’t make many errors.

Different Audiences: Friends: I became more friendly and

outgoing because of a confidence boost.

Clients/ Parents: I actually knew what I was talking about and was able to help with things that they needed me to do.

Bosses: I started becoming this excellent employee that they could count on for anything.

Response to the Shift: I was promoted to various higher

positions. I was trusted to talk to adult clients. There was no longer a need for me to be

supervised. People had a respect for me that I had

never experienced before. The trainers were more lenient with me

about things.

Hind Sight is 20/20 The only thing that I would have

changed about my position shift is that I would have tried not to get discouraged as often, because I know now what I didn’t know then about how this would contribute to my success.
