    Reporting To: Chief Financial Officer (CFO)

    Relationships

    With Purpose

    Chief Financial Officer Report directly to Chief Financial Officer and undertake

    tasks at direction of as well as independently.

    All Departments Give advice and provide assistance to all other staff

    where/when required.

    Purpose of the position

    The function of the finance manager position is additional analysis responsibilities that include

    support of the management team in a variety of operational decisions. The finance manager

    engages in financial analysis in such areas as forecasting, budgeting, engaging in cost reduction

    analysis, and reviewing operational performance.

    Good management decisions rely heavily on accurate and timely presentation of financial

    information. As such the overall financial health of the Company is supported from this area

    through the delivery of effective accounts department services. The role is to be performed

    with high standards of service to external and internal stakeholders.

    Responsibilities

    Primary Responsibilities

    Responsibility 1 Managerial Function

    Interaction and correspondence with Internal Auditors and coordinating the Internal

    Audit field work in all respect.

    Coordination with External Auditors in their field work and finalization of

    management letter and other audit documents.

    Computation of Depreciation/Amortization Expenses.

    Reconciles transactions, financial data, and other information to an automated

    accounting system.

    Analysis of Financial stata as and when asked by CFO. Ensuring the efficiency, effectiveness, integrity & business focus of financial systems

    & processes

    Providing strategic financial & business planning advice.

    Investigating & advising on highly complex issues.

    Ensuring all statutory accounts & returns are accurate and meet set timescales, legal

    requirements, interpreting these where necessary.

    Maintaining standards of professional practice.

    Responsibility 2 Financial Reporting Funtion

    Provision of corporate financial reports. Preparation of management Financial Statements on monthly, quarterly and annual

    basis.

    Responsibility 3 Banking Operations

    Correspondence with banks regarding placements and requisitions of different

    Statements.

    Prepare Bank Reconciliation Statements.

    Responsibility 4 Monitoring Function

    Checking entries, collection of support/relevant documents. Matching of system entry to Voucher.

    To check the accuracy of posting of accounting data into the accounting system.

    Insuring that every expanse is properly recorded.

    Secondary Responsibilities

    Responsibility 5 Administrative Functions

    To suggest changes to internal department procedures as and when identified and

    involve in continuous improvement, development of processes.

    Responsibility 6 Compliance Activities

    Helping the company be compliant with industry regulations.

    Preparation and submission of various forms and Correspondence with Securities

    Exchange Commission of Pakistan (SECP).

    Compile and maintain non-monetary reports and records

    Responsibility 7 Corporate Taxation Function

    Preparation and submission of various forms and Correspondence with Federal

    Board of Revenue.

    Minimal exposure to the risk.

    Responsibility 8 Other tasks where required

    Any other duties assigned via Finance Order or listed in Finance and Accounting

    Manual or asked by the departmental superiors.

    Skills and Personal Attributes

    Knowledge of International Financial Reporting Standards and International

    Accounting Standards.

    Understanding of Generally acceptable accounting procedures.

    Communication of financial information to non-finance staff. Advanced theoretical & practical knowledge

    Enterprise Resource Planning experience.

    Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint & Outlook) Experience.

    Knowledge of contemporary IT including word processing, email, spreadsheet,

    database and similar disciples.

    Candidates who have undertaken or are currently completing Tertiary/Vocational

    Training in the accounting field.

    Demonstrated ability to contribute in a professional and collaborative way to a

    team.

    Demonstrate high level of oral communication and interpersonal skills including theability to manage the flow of people and business, liaise and consult with internal

    and external stakeholders regarding sensitive and confidential matters, and maintain

    effective working relationships in a high volume environment.

    Demonstrate a high level of confidentiality, tact, discretion, initiative and sound

    judgment.

    Excellent organizational skills including the ability to determine priorities meet

    regular deadlines and take follow up action. Communication

    Being analytical, Technical knowledge of accounting and business, Leadership,

    Professionalism, Organizational skills and Ability to be flexible.
