Position Overview
Comcare is seeking to employ an Intern who would value and enjoy working in a team, understanding workplace practice and developing strengths and honing their skills.

Main Responsibilities
Under direction, manage a range of specified projects and tasks assigned from the group’s business plan.
Assist in drafting, preparing and/or proof reading documents such as briefing notes, memoranda, reports, correspondence, guidelines, manuals, procedures and publications.
Liaising with staff and other internal and external stakeholders about a range of matters relating to the organisation’s operations.
Interpreting, applying and advising in relation to the Safety, Rehabilitation and Compensation Act 1988 and the Work Health and Safety Act 2011.
Collating, researching, analysing, auditing and reporting on qualitative and quantitative information.
Copying, collating and distributing documents.
Processing mail, filing correspondence and maintaining records.
Providing secretarial support to internal/external committees.
Representing at seminars, workshops, networks and other external forums with credibility and professionalism.
Promote workplace safety, equity and diversity and environment practices in the workplace.
Demonstrate and model safe attitudes, values and behaviours in order to uphold your health and safety duties.
Commit to, promote and model the APS Values and APS Code of Conduct.
Ideal Degree/Discipline
