POS LOG-IN SCREEN

POS (Point Of Sale) System is an application used to keep track of all sales transaction. It is also capable of handling customer returns and allows accepting different tender types such as: Cash, Credit Card, Debit/EPS ATM, Check, Gift Check, Coupon, etc

F1 Help Displays t he functions and shortcut keys of Barter™ POS System

F2 Search Allows user to search for a specific product using barcode, stock number, reference code or name. User could also search for a specific customer, bagger, acquiring bank etc.

F3 Void Item Allows user to void a selected item for the specific transaction on the request of a customer by pressing F3. Authorization of the supervisor is required.

F4 Void Transaction

Displays the information about the customer. User has the option to search the customer from the database by pressing F2.

F5 Customer Displays the information about the customer. User has the option to search the customer from the database by pressing F2.

F6 Bagger Displays the information about the bagger. User has the option to scan the bagger’s ID or search from the list of baggers from the database by pressing F2

F7 Return Activates the POS system return function. Used if the customer opts to return previously bought item.

F8 Lock Locks the POS application which in effect disallowing other user to create any transaction.

F9 Cash Allows customer to pay in cash

F10 Credit Card Allows customer to pay using credit card.

F11 EPS/Debit Allows customer to pay using EPS/Debit card.

F12 Other Payment

Allows customer to pay using coupon, gift certificate, exchange, charge, etc.

Ctrl + W Withdraw Allows user to specify amount withdrawn from the cash drawer.

Ctrl + D Deposit Allows user to specify initial fund stored in the cash drawer.

Ctrl + X X – Reading Allows user to print X – Reading for their entire Shift

Ctrl + Z Z – Reading Allows the supervisor to print the Z – Reading. Functions only available for Supervisor.

Ctrl + R Reprint Receipt Allows user to reprint receipt.

Ctrl + I Item Discount Displays discount window.

Ctrl + O Over-all Discount

Displays overall discount window that is almost similar to the Item Discount Window.

Ctrl + S Senior Citizen Activates senior citizen discount.

Ctrl + N Network Synchronization

Allows the user to synchronize their terminal with the network.

Ctrl + A Alternate Server

Allows the user to connect to the alternate server.

Ctrl + H Item Wholesale

Allows the user to change the item’s price into wholesale price.

Ctrl + T Transaction Wholesale

Allows user to use wholesale prices for the whole transaction.

Ctrl + Q Show Total Quantity

Displays the total quantity of items included in the transaction.

Ctrl + P Price Override Allows the user to override the current price of an item.

Ctrl + C Change Paper Allows user to change the paper without voiding the transaction.

Ctrl + L . Item Special Price

Allows the user to indicate a special or different price of an item for a certain client other the retail or wholesale price.

Ctrl + K . Transaction Special Price

Allows user to use a special price for a certain clients’ transactions other than the retail or wholesale price.

Ctrl + F . Transaction Other Price

Allows user to use other price for a certain clients’ transactions.

Ctrl + Alt + R Resend Transaction

Allows user to resend transaction to the backend.

Ctrl + Alt + E . Time Entry Allow user to input the time they have started their shift.  

Ctrl + Alt + I . Show Inventory Allow user to see the inventory of available items.

Shift + F5 Salesman for Transaction

Allow user to indicate salesman name for certain transaction.

Shift + F6 Salesman per Item

Allow user to indicate name/s of salesman for each item included in the transaction.

Shift + F9 Suspend Allow user to temporarily save a transaction and get back to it later.

Ctrl + Alt + Z Reprint Z-reading

Allow user to reprint z-reading.
