About MeI enjoy travelling, playing the guitar, chess, painting and reading. Broadening my experience of human culture, environments and landscapes is what I search for in all of my spare time activities. An avid biker, a passionate swimmer, and an ardent runner, I am always on the move trying to capture on my camera or sketchbook the amazing world that sur-rounds us. I am also a proud Peregrino, having finished the Camino de Compostella in 2014

One can say

that the city itself

is the collective memory

of its people,

and like memory

it is associated

with

objects

and places.

The city is the locus of the collective memory.

The conceptual idea that stands at the basis of my design is the growth, distribution and characteristics of trees and their evocative use in architecture. By studying the characteristics of a tree, inter-esting conections can be established between all of them, all due to the fact that they are generated by a simple factor: light. The model strives to put into abstract form and present :

Concept

Height of treeDensity of trees at that stageSpace underneath the canopySize of canopyRhythm determined by density and heightAmount of light that the tree needs to sustain itselfSize of the tree trunk

The outcome of the process has made me realise that the sum of all the properties create different spaces with different experiential qual-ities. Throughout my design I try using this information gathered in creating evocative moments that refer to different types of forest.
