DescriptionA brochure with a diagonal fold.

Process (Programs, Tools, Skills)I used Adobe Illustrator and InDesign to create this project. I wanted there to be a general theme across the whole brochure so I took four real photos and converted them into flat cartoon type images using the pen tool in Illustrator; this way I could change the colors of the cartoons to any color I wanted and keep to my original idea. I also wanted a diagonal fold to help the brochure pop out a little bit. This took quite a bit of time to get the alignments right for each side of the page.

MessageMy message is that custom designed jackets are out their and are a different thing. People can customize their jacket to fit their personality.

AudienceProbably the young adults of this world. ages 12 to 18.

Top Thing LearnedI think I learned a lot about thinking outside the box and trying new things.

DescriptionThis is a webpage used to show the logo and the design process of the logo.

Process (Programs, Tools, Skills)I used HTML and CSS to come up with my webpage. As we already had a basic knowledge of CSS I used the already downloaded text and added some others to match it up exactly with my HTML text. I added some references to H3 and H4 titles giving different background colors and different font colors. I also used padding to move text and images sideways across my webpage so everything was not centered. I added a comment to let me know which Hex color code was what color because those codes became confusing for me.

MessageMy message is to show a logo that shows customization. The jackets being sold are fully custom so I want people to see that in the logo and webpage.

AudienceMy audience are teens and young adults who want to stick out in a crowd with something nobody else has.

Color scheme and color hexMy color scheme was monochromatic with red, AF4141 is the color code for the red I used. My main color is black because I want to have a logo that can fit on most colors of jackets and still pop out.

DescriptionThis flier is for the purpose in promoting a leadership conference for recent graduates.

Process (Programs, Tools, Skills)I drew some sketches of the flier to start things off (see below). The sketches helped me formulate the flow of the flier. With the help of InDesign, I was able to create a flier that has alignment and flow. The flier has a box theme, which boxes help lead the eye to information. The eye should start at the word Leadership, which was empha-sized, then with the use of lines and shapes the eye can then travel down the right side of the page.

MessageThe message is for those recent college graduates who are looking to increase their knowledge in leadership skills.

AudienceCollege graduates looking for leadership skills to help them in the real world.

Top Thing LearnedI learned the effectiveness of flow.
