Favela Project2009

Favela Project was a research conducted in 2009 as a graduate tesis in architecture and urbanism. The main objective of the thesis was to investigate the architecture of the favelas and link it with the shortage situation of its inhabitants.

The project is divided into two phases: “living in the favela” and “solutions” . “Living in the favela” was the observation part of the project in which a participant research was conducted during six months in the favela Sururu de Capote (Maceió, Brazil). It was followed by the production of the thesis and by the production of articles for conferences, seminars and newspapers. Finally, “Solutions” sought to nd out ways in order to solve the problems pointed out by the rst phase of the research. It was composed by a photography exhibition held in Brazil and by a sca old structure house as a temporary solution for the emergent situation of the favela.

Doll s House

This project was published by the international magazine Mocoloco. It is a ludic house reusing a con-tainer structure and and glass for the NRW-Forum!Düsseldorf Com-petition of 2011.

Where you can walk by the window and sit on the roof with friends. Inspired by Bavarian architec-tural house shapes.Doll`s house uses slices of container at the princi-pal volume of the building (roof and side moving slices). Contrasting with the exterior revetment, the interior of the house is all made of wood. Plants and grass were strategicaly posed in the metting of the celling with the or , in intention to provok-ing a dramatic felling to the residents.The furniture can be folded. It is atached with the

oor and walls .The house intent to be non conventional place for modern livers.

72 HUA Terni

2012

72HUA is the rst realtime architecture competition. Architects from around the world are placed into groups of seven persons and are suppose to design and build an intervention for a needy place in 3 days.

We won the rst price of this competition by designing a side-walk for a residencial block in Terni, Italy. The sidewalk delimi-tated a path for a con ict area in which cars and people were crossing in a caotic way.

Triptyque Studio 1(2011)

An art direction work uniting gra c design and comunication was realised for making a new concept for “Harmonia Project ”(Triptyque Studio). The concept is beingused in international events (Bienal de Arquitetura de Buenos Aires 2011,Bienal de Arquitetura de São Paulo 2011) and several international publications.

LES SERRES DE NEUILLY

Triptyque 2(201 1)

The skyscraper “Serresde Neuilly” was conceived forLa Defense, Paris,France. It is a private buildingfull led with o ces.The building has diverse uses such as restaurants in the highestlevel and business usesin the lowest level.

In this project i worked with an internal team of the o ce that designed the plans, structure,

ows, and calculum of the legal pro table area of the building.
