My  father  was  the  vic/m  of  an  armed  taxi  robbery  in  Hong  Kong.  I  wanted  to  apply  my  engineering  skills  in  a  posi/on  that  could  make  a  difference.  Over  the  course  of  7  years,  I  developed  taxi  security  cameras  that  were  installed  in  taxis  worldwide,  including  the  thousands  of  taxis  in  New  York  City.  The  product  has  helped  many  police  departments  in  crime  inves/ga/ons.      

Product Development & Project Management!

Through  the  personal  frustra/on  of  hailing  a  cab,  I  decided  to  scratch  my  own  itch  by  founding  a  startup  that  facilitates  painless  electronic  taxi  booking.  I  led  a  team  of  developers  and  designers  to  take  the  mobile  app  from  concept  to  execu/on.  Furthermore,  I  sold  the  soHware  to  taxi  companies  and  pushed  the  app  Taxi  In  2  to  the  #1  spot  under  the  search  term  “taxi”  in  the  Canadian  App  Store,  helping  many  taxi  users  along  the  way.  

Entrepreneurial Experience!

I  have  always  had  a  passion  for  interior  design.  Once  I  got  my  own  crib,  I  turned  my  vision  into  a  reality.  I  literally  “rolled  up  my  sleeves”  and  worked  on  everything  from  design  to  wiring  and  /ling.  Not  only  do  I  like  design,  I  like  challenges.  

Design as a Hobby!

A  client  once  proposed  an  iPad  game  to  me.  Within  12  hours,  I  sketched  out  the  wireframes  and  a  storyboard  and  executed  the  basics  of  the  iPad  app.  The  prototype  allowed  the  client  to  get  a  sense  of  the  touch  and  feel  of  the  game  in  just  several  hours.
