Hello my name is William Lopez, I`m twenty four years old. I live in Tulcán city. Now, I'm going to talk about my personality, and then I`m going to talk about three of my classmate.

I think I'm sociable person and I´m very quiet, but only sometimes, I`m very moody when I have the right, that of course sometimes is bad, also I think that sometimes I´m jealous with my girlfriend, in my studies I am a very responsible. I can`t stand when the people isn`t tell the truth, this is all about me.

Now I´m going to talk about three classmates, they are José Luis Almeida, Gladys Chiran and Diego Mafla.

The first is José Luis Almeida, He lives in Tulcán. I think that he's a very calm person; he likes to respect all people, also he´s reliable because sometimes I count some problems that I´ve had, he is studying the same specialty that I study that is Agronomy, I think that he is a good person.

The person that I´m going to talk now is about Gladys Chiran, she lives in Santa Marta de Cuba, she has a sun, in the University she is a very responsible with her studies, she is very funny but sometimes it is too bossy especially when we do homework in groups, but it is definitely a good classmate.

And finally I going to talk about Diego Mafla, He lives in Tulcán next to the University, I think that Diego is a very funny person, because he always makes us laugh, sometimes he tell us jokes are very funny, is a spontaneous person, sometimes when we drink alcohol and he is sick, he is very stubborn whit everybody, but he is a good person.

All of my classmates are very good persons.

Hello my name is William Lopez, I`m twenty four years old. I live in Tulcán city. I study in the UPEC, and the level and the level I'm crossing is six, I'm going to talk about one day in my life at the University.

I get up at five o'clock, then, I prepare my food, before that, I shower for about 25 minutes, and finally, after getting dressed I go to the University, class schedule is until noon.

Then, I return in the afternoon to three pm, when I have English I finish school until nine p.m.

As you can see my class schedule is sometimes all day, but I think that while we are learning, time does not matter.

Well ... I'm going to talk about my favorite entertainment, definitely on the weekends I entertain more, I think my favorites are entertainment, video games, especially when I'm with my nephews because they are very good players and I like to win them.

Another of my favorite entertainment is watch movies especially comedy and scary, I have so much fun because when we watch movies with my girlfriend, I have so much fun when she is frightened of fear.

Another of my entertainment is to go out dancing a few weekends; I think that dancing is like therapy, because it helps me unwind, I think these are the main entertainment these days.

I think that these activities help me keep my mind off problems.

THE SCHOLARSHIPS IMPLEMENTED BY THE ECUADORIAN GOVERNMENT. (SENESCYT)

In the Universities of Ecuador President Rafael Correa with (SENESCYT), they are providing scholarships, for the best students, there are two types of scholarships;

1. The first, are averages of nine.2. The second, with averages of eight.

I think this kind of scholarships, are a good help for students poor, or that need money. I think that these scholarships help us be better students. These scholarships, which have been giving, started a one or two years ago.

ADVANTAGES

I think that these scholarships help to students poor, because there are many students who benefit of an amount of 263 USD the semester. Another good advantage is that the money helps to have a good average in ratings.

DISADVANTAGES

The disadvantages of this project, is that the money is not received on time, the deposit is delayed. Another disadvantage is that for each deposit we have to do many formalities and this is very annoying.

CONCLUSION.

Finally, I think the scholarships are an investment, because there are many students who have an economic support to help improve the development of good students, I think our president really is helping everyone, especially he is supporting to the education.

THE IDEL TRIP

I would like to travel to FRANCE; I would like to know the

capital of FRANCE “PARÏS”, also the Torre Eiffel, I think

they are places that I never forget, because always I

wanted to be in those places, I would like to take this trip

with my girlfriend when we finish the college, have a good

job and after we get married.

I think that I would like to make this trip to France because I

think it's a wonderful place, and because I like the language

of that country.

CONDITIONAL FORMS

English learners should study conditional forms to speak about past, present and future situations that depend on other events happening. There are four forms of the conditional in English. Students should study each of the forms to understand how to use conditionals to speak about:

Something that is always true if something happens - conditional zero

Something that will be true in the future if something happens - conditional one or real conditional

Something that would be true if something happened in the present - conditional two or unreal conditional

Something that would have been true in the past if something had happened - conditional three or unreal conditional

Conditional 0

Situations that are always true if something happens.

NOTE

This use is similar to, and can usually be replaced by, a time clause using 'when' (example: When I am late, my father takes me to school.)

If I am late, my father takes me to school.She doesn't worry if Jack stays out after school.

Conditional 0 is formed by the use of the present simple in the if clause followed by a comma the present simple in the result clause. You can also put the result clause first without using a comma between the clauses.

If he comes to town, we have dinner.

OR

We have dinner if he comes to town.

Conditional 1

Often called the "real" conditional because it is used for real - or possible - situations. These situations take place if a certain condition is met.

NOTE

In the conditional 1 we often use unless which means 'if ... not'. In other words, '...unless he hurries up.' could also be written, '...if he doesn't hurry up.'.

If it rains, we will stay at home.

He will arrive late unless he hurries up.

Peter will buy a new car, if he gets his raise.

Conditional 1 is formed by the use of the present simple in the if clause followed by a comma will verb (base form) in the result clause. You can also put the result clause first without using a comma between the clauses.

If he finishes on time, we will go to the movies.

OR

We will go to the movies if he finishes on time.

Conditional 2

Often called the "unreal" conditional because it is used for unreal - impossible or improbable - situations. This conditional provides an imaginary result for a given situation.

NOTE

The verb 'to be', when used in the 2nd conditional, is always conjugated as 'were'.

If he studied more, he would pass the exam.

I would lower taxes if I were the President.

They would buy a new house if they had more money.

Conditional 2 is formed by the use of the past simple in the if clause followed by a comma would verb (base form) in the result clause. You can also put the result clause first without using a comma between the clauses.

If they had more money, they would buy a new house.

OR

Conditional 3

Often referred to as the "past" conditional because it concerns only past situations with hypothetical results. Used to express a hypothetical result to a past given situation.

Jane would have found a new job if she had stayed in Boston.

Conditional 3 is formed by the use of the past perfect in the if clause followed by a comma would have past participle in the result clause. You can also put the result clause first without using a comma between the clauses.

Well, I'm going to talk about the work we have done in our

University, the activities that we have done are the “MINGAS”

the advantages of working in team are many, because the work

is concluded faster, and everyone can say, and that the work is

better, many people work better in team, Another advantage is

that everyone we interact better work as partners and as

friends, and that's good because the U grows and gives a good

example.

Between the disadvantages of working in team, are that many

people don´t work, and they let that others do the job, and I

think that it is very bad, also I believe that team work is bad

because many people are absent from the workplace, and work

performance decreases.

In conclusion teamwork, I think it is more advisable to work

alone, because working alone, I think that it requires more time.

Our career studying everything related to nature, whether animals or plants, I think the Agriculture today is one of the most important issues because of agriculture depends on the supply for everyone, and it is our responsibility to make a good crop management, making good management consciousness without too much use of chemicals that are detrimental to health.

On the other hand, our career is related to the animals as these are what we also produce food by meat and by-products such as milk cows, chickens eggs etc.

Between the bad things about agriculture is that many people who are dedicated to grow the plants, today they are using too many chemicals, these people are not aware of the damage or arm they are causing to the people who consume this products and also to the arm to the environment.

The good of our race is that we as professionals future, we need to produce products that do not have too many chemicals, and sell healthy and natural products that help people's health.

In conclusion, we as good people have to be responsible when producing products for human consumption.

Our career is wonderful, because we are called to help conserver the environment, the rational use of chemicals

If we as professionals we ensure good health of people, not make money regardless of health.

USE OF PASSIVE

Passive voice is used when the focus is on the action. It is not important or not known; however, who or what is performing the action.

Example: My bike was stolen.

In the example above, the focus is on the fact that my bike was stolen. I do not know,

however, who did it.

Sometimes a statement in passive is more polite than active voice, as the following

example shows:

Example: A mistake was made.

In this case, I focus on the fact that a mistake was made, but I do not blame anyone

(e.g. you have made a mistake.).

Form of Passive

Subject + finite form of to be + Past Participle (3rd column of irregular verbs)

Example: A letter was written.

When rewriting active sentences in passive voice, note the following:

the object of the active sentence becomes the subject of the passive sentence

the finite form of the verb is changed (to be + past participle)

the subject of the active sentence becomes the object of the passive sentence (or is dropped)

Passive Sentences with Two Objects

Rewriting an active sentence with two objects in passive voice means that one of the

two objects becomes the subject, the other one remains an object. Which object to

transform into a subject depends on what you want to put the focus on.

Passive: A letter was written to me by Rita.

Passive: I was written a letter by Rita.

.

As you can see in the examples, adding by Rita does not sound very elegant. That’s

why it is usually dropped.

Personal and Impersonal Passive

Personal Passive simply means that the object of the active sentence becomes the

subject of the passive sentence. So every verb that needs an object (transitive verb)

can form a personal passive.

Example: They build houses. – Houses are built.

Verbs without an object (intransitive verb) normally cannot form a personal passive

sentence (as there is no object that can become the subject of the passive sentence).

If you want to use an intransitive verb in passive voice, you need an impersonal

construction – therefore this passive is called Impersonal Passive.

Example: he says – it is said

Impersonal Passive is not as common in English as in some other languages (e.g.

German, Latin). In English, Impersonal Passive is only possible with verbs of

perception (e. g. say, think, know).

Example: They say that women live longer than men. – It is said that women live

longer than men.

Although Impersonal Passive is possible here, Personal Passive is more common.

Example: They say that women live longer than men. – Women are said to live longer

than men.

The subject of the subordinate clause (women) goes to the beginning of the sentence;

the verb of perception is put into passive voice. The rest of the sentence is added

using an infinitive construction with 'to' (certain auxiliary verbs and that are dropped).

Sometimes the term Personal Passive is used in English lessons if the indirect object

of an active sentence is to become the subject of the passive sentence.
