ENVIRONMENTAL D ISASTERS
Many disasters that threaten the stability of our planet, seen both in our country
talk about deforestation and its consequences.
DEFORESTATION
One of the greatest threats to human survival on planet Earth is deforestation.
This is a process of forest loss and ironically is
caused by the same man. Deforestation is the
logging or burning sprees caused or injured
trees. On completion forest is lost ecological
balance and biodiversity. Deforestation affects
significantly over time and weather.
One of the worst consequences of deforestation is that many of the forests are
devastated are places where they live several species, many of these, in
danger of extinction. Also in these areas there are also considerable quantities
of water. Ending a forest means many of the animals and plants that live there
will die or have to move to another site to continue its development. Thus many
species, some unknown to man, are fading forever from the planet. Additionally
materials are lost and potentially valuable drugs, as well as water and clean air.
Suffering people, indigenous and national economies as the future of people
and forests is interconnected.
Another terrible consequence is that it reduces the ability of the medium to
absorb carbon dioxide, which causes the greenhouse effect, a phenomenon
enhanced by pollution and causes and aggravates global warming. The planet
is warming, the last ten years have been the
hottest and it is expected that the future will be
even hotter. However, the projections are limited
due to ignorance of the workings of the
atmosphere
FUTURE FORMS
FUTURE FORMS
Simple Future has two different forms in English: "will" and "be going to." These different meanings might seem too abstract at first, but with time and practice, the differences will
become clear. Both "will" and "be going to" refer to a specific time in the future.
FORM Will[will + verb]
You will help him later. Will you help him later? You will not help him
later.
Examples
FORM Be Going To[am/is/are + going to + verb]
Examples
You are going to meet Jane tonight.
Are you going to meet Jane tonight?
You are not going to meet Jane tonight.
Express a Voluntary Action
A voluntary action is one the speaker offers to do for someone else. Often, we use "will" to respond to someone else's complaint or request for help. We also use "will" when we request that someone help us or volunteer to do something for us.
Examples:
I will send you the information when I get it.
Will you make dinner? I will not do your
homework for you. I won't do all the
housework myself!
Express a Promise
"Will" is usually used in promises.
Examples:
I will call you when I arrive.
I promise I will not tell him about the surprise party.
Express a Plan
"Be going to" expresses that something is a plan. It expresses the idea that a person intends to do something in the future.
Examples:
He is going to spend his vacation in Hawaii.
She is not going to spend her vacation in Hawaii.
Who are you going to invite to the party?
Express a Prediction
Both "will" and "be going to" can express the idea of a general prediction about the future. Predictions are guesses about what might happen in the future.
Examples:.
The movie “Los pitufos" will win several Academy Awards.
The movie "Los pitufos" is going to win several Academy Awards.

INFIRMARY SCHOOL6th SEMESTER
TOPIC: Caring for the environment
DATE: 19 – 05 – 2012
NAME: Anabel Pozo
Our world is home show, and so we must take care, now with the environmental pollution, our planet is at risk
To save our planet we recycle all the waste we collect in any place, since these will serve to a new manufacturing process.
Planting trees help our environment to there being an adequate oxygenation, and purify our air.
Throw litter in its place, helpsto the reduction of microorganisms formed by trash and also becomes shorter the life of degradation of things
WATER POLLUTION
Water was created by God and therefore is
a natural resource. The water should be
cared for people.
If water is becoming polluted, there are
many problems: animals such as water can
not live for a long time and the species will
become extinct quickly.
Water pollution can cause different diseases.
So up to us it does not happen that: the environment can be saved by us
water should be respected as our life we should not throw trash in it
should not be up businesses along rivers.
THE OBJECT AND SUBJECT PRONOUNS
AND THE CONDITIONAL SENETNCES TYPE 2
Subject and Object Pronouns
We use subject pronouns as subjects of sentences and object pronouns as objects.
SUBJECT AND OBJECT PRONOUNS
CONDITIONAL SENTENCES TYPE 2
Subject pronouns are pronouns that take the place of a subject. Subjects are usually in front of the verb. Subjects are the part of sentence that do the action. The subject pronouns are I, you, he, she, it, they, and we.
Subject Pronouns
Examples:
I am happy. She runs fast. He lives in Long Beach. We are in class. They work at the college.
In these examples, I, she, he, we and they are the subject of the sentence. They are subject pronouns.
Object Pronouns
Object pronouns are pronouns that thake the place of an object. Objects are usually behind the verb. Objects are the part of the sentence that receive the action. The object pronouns are me, you, him, her, it, them and us.
Examples:
Bring me the book. Give her the money. Juanita lives close to
him. The car almost hit us.
If + Simple Past, main clause with Conditional I (= would + Infinitive)
Example: If I found her address, I would send her an invitation.
The main clause can also be at the beginning of the sentence. In this case, don't use a comma.
Example: I would send her an invitation if I found her address.
Note: Main clause and / or if clause might be negative. See Simple Past und Conditional I on how to form negative sentences.
Example: If I had a lot of money, I wouldn’t stay here.
Were instead of Was
In IF Clauses Type II, we usually use ‚were‘ – even if the pronoun is I, he, she or it –.
Example: If I were you, I would not do this.
Use
Conditional Sentences Type II refers to situations in the present. An action could happen if the present situation were different. I don't really expect the situation to change, however. I just imagine „what would happen if …“
Example: If I found her address, I would send her an invitation.
I would like to send an invitation to a friend. I have looked everywhere for her address, but I cannot find it. So now I think it is rather unlikely that I will eventually find her address.
Example: If John had the money, he would buy a Ferrari.
I know John very well and I know that he doesn't have much money, but he loves Ferraris. He would like to own a Ferrari (in his dreams). But I think it is very unlikely that he will have the money to buy one in the near future.
FAMOUS PERSON
FAMOUS PERSON
If I were Karla Kanora, I would live in Esmeraldas
and I had 32 years.
Also if I were her, I would appear in the TV and I
would know many singers in the world.
If I sing. I would have a nice voice, and I would travel
for a lot world from concert to concert.
If I lived in Esmeraldas. I would buy coconuts every
day, and I would eat seafood.
I would interpret the main theme of the telenovela
"Pages of Life ', which transmits Ecuavisa.
Now, I would be sworn, of Ecuador has talent.
My musical tastes are varied would. Among the artists are Israel Brito, Sergio
Sacoto, Juan Fernando Velasco and Julio Jaramillo. And among those I
consider to be a loyal international fan of Whitney Houston, Mariah Carey, Nina
Simone and Edith Piaf.

FINISHING THE UNIVERSITY
INFIRMARY
First I chose this career because it is humanistic and I love to help
people looking neither distinction of race, sex, social status.
God willing in a few months I go to
boarding school newspaper and I can
prove there all the knowledge I acquired
over six semesters in my beloved
university.
When you finish the race and I already
have my profession I can play in different roles, in which I mention
below, but first I want to talk a little about what is nursing.
The Infirmary It is the profession
responsible for managing the care of
people in all that is related to the
promotion, maintenance, restoration of
health and prevention of diseases and
injuries; includes diagnostics and
actions arising from medical treatment
and resource management necessary.
Nursing is therefore a scientific and humanistic profession, whose
role taking care of people, ensuring continuity of these from the
critical care unit to home care.
And with respect to where I can practice my profession then
mentions the occupational field of my career.
Occupational Profile
The scope of professional nursing is broad and can work in Public or
Private Institutions of Health, also in business and industry, such as
Occupational Health
Nurses, also is able to
establish his own
practice of nursing,
exercise their
profession freely.
Areas of professional
performance are more
specific:
Health institutions at regional, national and foreign.
At the enterprise level.

“How eat are you in the dinner?” asked the nutritionist.
The nutritionist asked me How eat I was.
THE CELL PHONE
THE CELL
While we consider the cell as a tool, we must remember that there are pros and
cons associated with their use, and that this depends on us. All valuable, may
lose its meaning if it is given a misuse. To analyze
the pros and cons of this service, we start naming
the positive aspects of mobile phones (which are
actually many), and then compare it with the
negative, so we can have a balanced view on this
matter.
The advantages are:
Helps cut distances and stay in touch with people around the world
For portability, we can place people where they are immediately.
Its low cost. Currently, there are phones that integrate video and audio
programs like Skype conference call where anyone in the world is free.
I can combine multiple applications, such as text messages, voice
messages, access to social networks, camera, etc.
News and events have spread globally relevant
When the mainstream media have been silenced, social networks via
mobile phones have helped to clear the truth.
While the disadvantages are:
May cause withdrawal, disconnection from reality and solitude High degree of dependence Discourages physical activity and outdoor play can cause disinterest in
other forms of entertainment. You can broadcast obscene, harmful or aggressive comments to people. Health problems such as those mentioned at the beginning (more
children)
