Hello!

My name is Naomi Dee Balme, my life begins shortly after my parents moved to Rinteln Germany, to an army barracks where my father was based as a soldier within the household cavalry regiment. It was here I was raised for 5 years before moving back to the home of the household cavalry in Knightsbridge where I would sneak into the stables to sketch horses, developing my drawing skills from an early age.

My father retired from the army & we moved to Maidenhead where I attending Newlands Girls School. After completing my GCSE’s, I enrolled on a Fine Art course at Reading College where I studied photography, graphics, fine art & the history of art. It is here that my passion for design flourished & I knew I wanted to be a Designer.

I started my career at a publishing house as a customer services representative, working towards my goal position as an in-house Graphic Designer over the 8 years within the company. My confidence & ability in design has since grown immensely & I have developed an insatiable appetite to learn everything & anything about it!
