concept

Block of flats, with spatious gallery underneath.MainMain idea was to create a multifunctional building with distinguishable functions. Therefore, volumes are differ-ent in a subtle way. Residential volume is more alive, has more colour and pattern in cladding, “random” layout of lodges adds a playful accent and get better views becouse of the angles. Gallery volume is simple and modest, placed beneath and joined with the site relief.

the FUNCTION of the building is for parking, gallery and culture center, offices. Offices are separated with green curtain walls, while the culture center is blue.On the top floor in blue volume, the biggest space, is a COLLISION of gallery and cultural center functions.thethe CONSTRUCTION is rather difficult, with huge truss systems to hang long ramps for parking and gallery.Pillars and other constructive elements are visible throughout the building.

main TASK was to create a new combination of park-ing and a public facilities.the IDEA is combination of two different spiral ramps. One ramp is for parking, other - gallery.the connection and the movement continued to the formation of the VOLUME. There is an effect of growth from the ramps.

aim of this task was to feel and react the scale of surroundings. In this case the insertion is a NUANCE. Noticing the patterns, divisions in the buildings along. Though the volume is different, but the parts inside create feeling of the same scale and continuity.

The structure from one element.Intersection of two volumes, what happens at
