Controlling visit

Upon completion of the census of population and housing sampling was carried out control visits .In urban areas and rural areas controllingbypass was performed in all instructional areascovering each of them 10 % of the residential premisesassess and evaluate the completeness of the population in the periodthe census.Control visits carried out in order to verifyif there were omissions and duplicate entries in the census ,whether made recording of a temporary absence andtemporary residence.According to the results of the visit in the statements for countableadditional sites were recorded in 1102 persons1102 persons thatis 0.01% of the total population of allrewritten population or 0.1 % of the total population ,fell under 10% of the sample ( 758.3 thousand people).

As one of the most important methods for assessing the census of population and housing in the Agency for Statistics of the Republic of Tajikistan used demographic analysis, during which is widely used graphical representation of data, in particular, the construction of the population pyramid, evaluates the quality of the census in matters related to sex and age composition population, a comparison of results of the census of population and housing details of the current account of demographic indicators, data evaluation and data from previous censuses.

According to the census of population and housing in 2010 the difference between the permanent populationrepublic and current statistical dataamounted to +34.9 thousand people.

In July 2011 the Statistical Agency under President of the Republic of Tajikistan was initiated by the global assessment , which was first held in 2012 . The main purpose of the Global Assessment of the national statistical system of Tajikistan was to assess the level of compliance with accepted international and European standards, including the fundamental principles of official statistics and norms of the European Statistics Code.     March 7, 2013   March 7, 2013 in Dushanbe was a presentation of the main findings and recommendations of the Global assessment of the national system of official statistics of the Republic of Tajikistan which was presented by UNECE .
