To Setup your Email Account

The following illustrations are based on iPhone 5 running iOS 7.1.2.

2. Select Mail, Contacts, Calendars

3. Select Add Account

4. Select Microsoft Exchange

6. Make sure Mail option is ON. (Other settings are optional.) 7. Select Save

Android Platform (version 2.3.2) - To Setup your Email Account The following illustrations are based on a mobile device using Android OS Ver. 2.3.2.

1. Select Email application to show

the Set up email page 2. Enter the following info., then

select Manual Setup

3. Select Exchange Active Sync as

the type of account in Add new email account page

4. Enter the following info., check

Use secure connection (SSL) and Accept all SSL certificates, then select Next

5. Select OK

6. Select your preferred options and then select Next

7. Enter a description

(e.g. PolyU Email) 8. Select Done (The Inbox

will then be opened)

9. If this screen shown,

click Activate to complete the configuration

Android Platform (version 4.3)

To Setup Email Account

The following illustrations are based on a mobile device using Android OS Ver. 4.3. a. Select Settings >

Accounts > Add account

b. Select Microsoft

Exchange ActiveSync c. Select Next

d. Enter the following info.

and select Next

e. Wait for several minutes

and then follow the step 6 - step 10

1. Select Email application

to show the Set up email page

2. Enter the following info.

and select Manual Setup

3. Select Exchange Active

Sync

4. Enter the following info.,

then select Next

5. Select OK and

6. select your preferred

options and then select Next

7. If this screen shown,

click Activate

8. Enter a description

(e.g. PolyU Staff Email) 9. Select Done (The Inbox

will then be opened)

Windows Phone 7 - To Setup your Email Account The following illustrations are based on a mobile device using Windows Phone 7.

1. If this is the first email account to be set up, select the Email setup on the home screen. (or select Settings > email & accounts > add an account)

2. Select Outlook in the ADD AN ACCOUNT page

3. Enter your email account info. and select sign in 4. Your email account will be configured automatically. If your PolyU Email CANNOT be configured automatically, please follow the following steps.

a. Select Settings > email & accounts > add an account b. Select advanced setup in the ADD AN ACCOUNT page c. In the ADVANCED SETUP page, enter your information as shown

and select Next accordingly

d. Click sign in to continue. Wait for a while, your email account will be configured.

Windows Phone 8.1

To Setup your Email Account

The following illustrations are based on a mobile device using Windows Phone 8.1.

(Your email account will be configured automatically)

1. Select the mail icon if this is the first email account to be set up. (or, select Settings > email+accounts > add an account)

2. Select Outlook

3. Enter your email account info. and select sign in

1. Select Settings > email+accounts > add an account > advanced setup

2. Select Exchange ActiveSync

3. Enter your information as shown

4. Select your preferred options

5. Select sign in. (Wait for a while, your email account will be configured.)

*Remarks: If your PolyU Staff Email CANNOT be configured automatically, please follow the following steps.

1. After setting up your Staff Email account (see To Setup PolyU Staff Email), click Office

2. Select OneDrive ??The Hong K… Note: OneDrive stands for OneDrive for Business here

3. Your files and folders stored on your OneDrive for Business are then shown
