Polytec Laser Diode Modules Polytec GmbH, Lambda’s parent company, began producing these laser diode modules to meet the demand in the German Car Manufacturing Industry. Although laser diodes are widely available, quality and durability can be variable. These diodes are made to high standards and many have integral line or cross-generating optics, perfect for industrial alignment applications. S far Polytec diodes have been used in hundreds of applications, especially in industrial or manufacturing environments. They have also been successfully used in equipment for repairing vehicle mounted reverse detectors, providing the perfect high accuracy alignment tool. Polytec offers an extensive range of standard laser diode modules with output powers from 1 to 15mW and wavelengths from 635nm to 670nm. Higher powers and alternate wavelengths are available upon request. Standard Polytec Laser Diode Modules

The following modules are available with wavelengths at 635, 650 or 670nm. Depending on the module, the output is a point, line or cross as standard. Generally all modules can be supplied as either point or line output.

PDL-VAR: The standard point laser in the Polytec range, small and compact. Line output available

PDL-LDC: The standard line laser in the Polytec range. Very economical. Point output available.

PDL-KRF: This module has an adjustable focus, allowing the line output to be adjusted over various projection distances. Point output available.

PDL-KRS: This module is housed in a rugged casing making it rugged and durable, perfect for industrial applications. Point output available.

PDL-KRC: This module produces a pair of lines at 90 degrees, forming a cross, perfect for alignment applications.

PDL-FGL: This module is launched into a fibre optic (either pigtail or collimated output). Standard fibre length is 100mm, but can be specified up to 1m in length.
