What makes the patented (#5,588,599) thermoplastic Poly Chip line so unusual? The thermoplastics used in Poly Chips are made from saturated polyester (up to 25% post-industrial recycled material) that are melted at high temperatures, pigmented and extruded. This process differs from the thermoset chips which are comprised of unsaturated polyester, ATH, and a variety of color additives which are vacuum-cast into sheets and then ground. Colors shown are representative of the actual colors.
