The Grinding and Polishing
Process
Polished concrete is ground back to expose its natural characteristics and appeal, then polished to create an enhanced and attractive finish. The grinding process reveals varying degrees of the natural aggregate and minerals within the concrete. Depending on the finish that you prefer, we can grind to different levels within the concrete from light to medium or a heavy grind, which will vary the level of aggregate exposure. CRS offer a range of finishes that all provide beautiful results. From the traditional process of grinding back and sealing the surface with carefully selected resin based sealers to the latest in concrete polishing technology, a system that polishes and treats the surface to produce a floor with the same appeal and feel of the highest quality polished stone.
