TRAINING AND MEM-BERSHIP OF POLICETRAINING ROS • Technical Course - With degrees

from yellow belt to black belt andthen the ROS Dan ranking (from 1stto 10th Dan). Belts are not wornduring training sessions becausestudents work out in their uniformswith the full service harness.• Promotion tests consist of a

technical exam and an interventiontest on a real situation.• ROS Dan ranks (10 in total) are

granted with the utmostseriousness, respecting timebetween degrees, by aninternational Grade and “Dan” RankCommission. All tests are donebefore a jury of professionals.Degrees are represented by bars onthe shoulder.• Instructor Course - Through

initial and continuing training forinstructor, chief instructor and ROSexpert. The Academy issues thesetraining certif icates for itsregistration as a trainingorganization in the Ministry of Laborin France. The instructor exam consists of
