  • 1. THE LATEST SITE INFORMATION CAN BE VIEWED ON THE ATTACHED REVISED SITE PLAN.

    1. Sheet P1.0 showing the revised trench drain layout has been included as part of this

    addendum.

    2. GENERAL ARCHITECTURAL:

    1. The vertical steel columns, pipe bollards, stair structure, step pans, railings and

    stringers all get painted.

    2. The glass in the Storefront is to be center glazed. The glass in the Curtain wall is to be

    offset glazed.

    3. The exterior metal siding color is factory finished

    4. The vinyl wall covering that has been discontinued should be priced as if replaced by

    an equal replacement.

    5. The curtain wall is to be clear glass.

    6. Tubelite and U,S. Aluminum are acceptable curtain wall and storefront manufacturers

    for this project.

    7. The coiling security doors called out in note 17 & 18 on sheet A10-2 are manually

    operated non-fire rated doors.

    8. All signage is the responsibility of the Owner.

    9. All 3/4" plywood shown as part of the exterior wall systems is to be “Fire Rated”

    Per the Kentucky Code.

    3. HVAC PLAN QUESTIONS:

    1. Luxair is an acceptable supplier for the AHU and RTU units.

    2. The electric water heater EW H-1 is deleted

    3. The units should have fresh air dampers with minimum air intake requirements.

    4. Tie exhaust fans together when possible and duct thru the roof or to the closest

    outside location, except thru ACM panels.

    5. The AHU equip. should get 3/4" insulated condensate piping to a side wall dump.

    The RTU condensate drains can dump onto the adjacent roof .

    6. The waste oil storage tank will be supplied by the owner, but all other controls and

    pumps should be included as part of your bid.

    7. All supply and return ducts should be insulated with an internal liner.

    8. All the AHU equipment should have automatic dampers to open when the unit is on.

  • 4. PLUMBING QUESTIONS:

    1. The plumbing plans have been approved by the State of Kentucky

    And changes per the inspector can be view in the job site office of

    C.M.

    2. The trench drains have been revised per the inclosed plumbing plan.

    They are poured concrete with metal grates and both drains now empty

    Into a 4' collection box at the end of the Service Area drain per the plan.

    3. The air compressor is the responsibility of the owner.

    4. The Eye-W ash is a “HAW S Model 8300-8309 with a mixing valve

    5. The roof drains over the Service W rite-Up drop down in the wall between

    the two overhead entry doors and are enclosed.

    UNDERGROUND EXHAUST SYSTEM:

    1. Plan revisions to the Underground Exhaust System and manufacturer cut sheets

    ( Harvey Industries) are included as part of this addendum.

    2. There is no sump pump required for this system.

    3. Schedule 40 pvc or SDR 35 are acceptable for the system`s underground piping.

    5. DOORS AND MISC. SPECIALTY QUESTIONS:

    1. Oshkosh Architectural Door Company is an approve door manufacturer for this project.2. All interior PL surfaced doors to be “ W ilson Art Kensington Maple 10776"

    6. CASEWORK ITEMS:

    1 PL-1 is to be plastic laminate with a color to be selected later. Gr-1 is to be

    Black Ubatuba (A.K.A Black Pearl Granite) as shown on revised sheet A10-2

    Included in this addendum.

    2. GR-1 is only on counter tops in the Coffee Bar, Reception, Parts Cashier- Upper top

    only and the Toilet rooms.

    3. Parts Cashier slat wall will include metal inserts.

    4. The sales desk shown on 10-2 should be framed out of metal studs.

  • 7. TOILET ACCESSORIES and BLOCKING QUESTIONS:

    1. All wood blocking for all installation areas should be included. Metal strip blocking can be substituted in interior wall applications but must be a minimum of 18" in length at any location.

    2. Per Specs 10810-2.02.G.1

    MR-1 Install “Bobrick” B-165 Series mirror at each Toilet Room lavatory

    location.

    3. Per Specs 10810-2.03.E.1

    SHD-1 Install “Bobrick” B-354 Series disposal unit at each W oman`s Toilet

    Room water closet location.

    4. Per Specs 10810-2.05.D.1

    PTD-W R Install 1 at each Toilet Room lavatory location and above the

    counter at the Coffee Bar sink.

    5. Per Specs 10810-2.04.D.1

    Install 1 in Jan Closet on second floor next to men and women`s toilet rooms.

    6. Per Specs 10810-2.06.D.1

    TTD-1 Install “Bobrick” B-3942 Series toilet paper holder at each water

    closet location.

    7. Per Specs 10810-2.06.D.1

    SD-1 Install 1“Bobrick” B-4112 Series in each Toilet Room & Rooms.

    8. A CIVIL DRAWING IS INCLUDED TO CLARIFY ALL SITE UTILITIES andTHEIR LOCATIONS BEYOND 5' AWAY FROM THE BUILDING.

    9. THE OWNER WILL FURNISH ALL DUMPSTERS AND PORT-A-JOHNSBUT NOT SMALL TRASH CANS AROUND THE PROJECT SITE.
