in Malawi 2011Celebrating the beauty and power of poetry, Poetry Africa in Malawi is a satellite programme of the Poetry Africa festival hosted by the Centre for Creative Arts (University of KwaZulu-Natal) in Durban, South Africa. A core

focus of the festival is the development of dialogue and exchange between countries and cultures, Africa in particular. The Malawi programme is part of the

Poetry Africa tour which also travels to Joburg, Zimbabwe and Cape Town, before culminating at the main festival in Durban between 17-22 October.See www.cca.ukzn.ac.za for poet biographies and festival details.
