Greetings from Our Pastor What is it that makes Christianity different from all of the other religions in the world? The answer is Jesus Christ! It seems that in today’s politically correct world, those of us that believe what Jesus tells us in God’s word from John 14 when he says “I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father but through Me” are becoming more and more marginalized. It is not popular in today’s world to profess what many so called progressive theologians have labeled as exclusivist theology. In fact many of our Christian seminaries today seem more concerned with finding out what we have in common with other religions and in understanding how they perceive God to be working in Buddhism, Islam, and Hinduism etc. than in training our future church leaders and pastors in the truth of God’s Holy Word, the Bible, and how to proclaim it. Many Christians in our churches today have fallen prey to Satan’s deception which points to a more universal God and neglects the truth that only Jesus Christ is God’s chosen revelation of himself to humankind. But there is something about this Jesus that even those who want to become more inclusive, progressive and enlightened in their religion cannot deny. The power of the presence of Jesus Christ is real, powerful and can be found in no other so called God! Jesus is the only God that anyone on this earth seeks to worship who is alive today! Buddha, Mohammed, Joseph Smith and all the others are dead. His Spirit testifies to those of us who trust in Him that he is and will always be the only way, the only truth and the only way to life! If He lives in our hearts today, we have some good news to proclaim and share with the world! But if He is just another form of God we have nothing to say, no good news to proclaim and there is no reason for His having come into the world. Do we believe in the resurrection of God’s only begotten son? Do we believe that He lives so that we might live also through faith in Him! Then let us never be ashamed to profess and proclaim that Jesus, and only Jesus, is savior and Lord! Greetings from Our Pastor

What is it that makes Christianity different from all of the other religions in the world? The answer is

Jesus Christ! It seems that in today’s politically correct world, those of us that believe what Jesus

tells us in God’s word from John 14 when he says “I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one

comes to the Father but through Me” are becoming more and more marginalized. It is not popular in

today’s world to profess what many so called progressive theologians have labeled as exclusivist

theology. In fact many of our Christian seminaries today seem more concerned with finding out

what we have in common with other religions and in understanding how they perceive God to be

working in Buddhism, Islam, and Hinduism etc. than in training our future church leaders and pastors

in the truth of God’s Holy Word, the Bible, and how to proclaim it.

Many Christians in our churches today have fallen prey to Satan’s deception which points to a more

universal God and neglects the truth that only Jesus Christ is God’s chosen revelation of himself to

humankind. But there is something about this Jesus that even those who want to become more

inclusive, progressive and enlightened in their religion cannot deny. The power of the presence of

Jesus Christ is real, powerful and can be found in no other so called God! Jesus is the only God that

anyone on this earth seeks to worship who is alive today! Buddha, Mohammed, Joseph Smith and all

the others are dead. His Spirit testifies to those of us who trust in Him that he is and will always be

the only way, the only truth and the only way to life!

If He lives in our hearts today, we have some good news to proclaim and share with the world! But if

He is just another form of God we have nothing to say, no good news to proclaim and there is no

reason for His having come into the world. Do we believe in the resurrection of God’s only begotten

son? Do we believe that He lives so that we might live also through faith in Him! Then let us never be

ashamed to profess and proclaim that Jesus, and only Jesus, is savior and Lord!
