Annual Letter from the Trustees

9 Improve public education by supporting programs that further public education in our regions

9 Support organizations that improve the infrastructure in our regions

9 Provide support to programs encouraging minorities to enter the public accounting profession in our regions

9 Support entrepreneurism in our regions

These are the objectives of the RubinBrown Charitable Foundation.

We are dedicated to these objectives as we strive to improve our regions through gifts to carefully selected organizations. This year, the Foundation distributed grants of $41,000 to seventeen organizations in our communities. Please learn more about the organizations selected this year and their missions in the following pages. While we are excited about making a significant impact through future grants, it is also important to reflect on the positive difference the Foundation has already made through approximately $200,000 in grants since inception. Letters received from some of the fifty recipient organizations articulate how important these funds are to the communities they serve.

Of course, the great pride we feel as Trustees of the RubinBrown Charitable Foundation is built upon the generous contributions made each year by YOU - our donors. RubinBrown team members, friends of the Foundation, and the Community Service Committee have donated over $600,000 since 2002. RubinBrown LLP has donated approximately $200,000 in matching contributions over the years including the 2015 match of over $33,000. Total assets on August 31, 2015 are approximately $873,000. Please see the list of donors which follows and know that every donation is greatly appreciated!

Please continue to remember the RubinBrown Charitable Foundation in your giving plans. Consider a donation to the Foundation as a memorial or tribute for a family member, friend or colleague. Visit our webpage at RubinBrown.com/Foundation to learn more about making a secure on-line contribution by credit card or by check. Team members can also make contributions via payroll deduction in Ultipro. Contribution envelopes are available in the reception area of each office.

Sincerely,

Jim Castellano, Trustee Judy Murphy, Trustee Steve Hays, Trustee
