This course aims to get you work ready and prepared for life in this valued and vital trade.Up-to-date resources will enhance practical and theory sessions where you will learn about the principles of plumbing systems, the importance of water pressure, pipe joining techniques, hot and cold water supplies and above ground drainage. Customer relations and environmental considerations are also covered as part of the course as are the principles of working safely in the environment.

HOW IS THIS COURSE ASSESSED?

These courses are assessed through a series of practical examinations and online multiple-choice tests.

Entry requirements All students require a minimum of 4 GCSEs grades 1/2 (E/G) or equivalent, including Foundation Awards and Entry Level Certificates.

Internal progression to the Level 2 or a suitable course is guaranteed with a good standard of attendance and commitment to all lessons including Maths and English.
