Fire salamander

After a week of hard work you deserve

a day of recreation.

A day hike on one of the rambling trails

in the area can take you to pleasant

corners you will never discover by car.

As you walk along the bends of a trail

bordering woodland and vineyards, you

may be surprised by unexpected sights

or even splendid panoramic views.

Guided rambling tours in the area are

provided by Schwarzwaldverein

Heidelberg e.V. (Black Forest Hiking

Club). We are a registered association

and offer our services to club members

as well as guests. Guests are invited to

contribute a tiny participation fee of 2

Euros per outing.

You are welcome to join us every week

for a walk in the Rhine-Neckar-Region

or neighbouring areas.

„After-Work“ outing

Customized to the needs of people in

work is our „After-Work“ outing in

Heidelberg, once a week every Tuesday,

from April to September

at 5:30 pm.

We meet at Heidelberg Bismarckplatz

and enjoy 2 or 3 hours of hiking over the

surrounding green hillsides.
