In order to allow our Children’s Ministry volunteers to attend the special worship service, we have hired four caregivers to care for our Nursery and Toddler aged children. Each caregiver has more than 10 years experience in caring for children. We will also have at least one Youth volunteer in each room.

The grand finale for the Making Space Capital Campaign will take place during a special worship service on December 2, 2012. This celebration will be held at Markham District High School.

who’s coming?

Live Animal Show (ages Pre-school to Grade 5)

In order to allow our Children’s Ministry volunteers to attend the special worship service, we have hired Whimz (www.whimzonline.com) and CreatureQuest (www.creaturequest.ca) to provide an entertaining and informative program for our kids. Children will have the opportunity to hold, pet and even feed animals such as rabbits, lizards, chinchillas and hedgehogs. The program will run in 4 separate classrooms according to age group:

ROOM 201 Preschool & J.K.

ROOM 202 S.K. & Grade 1

ROOM 203 Grade 2 & Grade 3

ROOM 204 Grade 4 & Grade 5

Schedule of Event 11:00 A.M. TO 1:00 P.M. Live Animal Show and Snack

1:15 P.M. TO 3:00 P.M. Multi-cultural Lunch and Program*

The cost of the Live Animal Show is $5. Following the show and snack time, the volunteers will bring the children to the auditorium for the Group Photo. Children will then join their parents for the celebration lunch. Lunch tickets can be purchased at the Welcome Kiosk or reserved through Cecilia Chan at Cecilia@5chans.com .

* The program will run throughout the lunch meal. With the exception of possible speeches from the dignitaries, the atmosphere will be informal and children can run around and make background noise.

Please return registration forms to the StarKids Registration Table no later than Sunday November 25, 2012.
