Come join a fun filled year in ECFE. Classes meet from

18-23 weeks during the school year that the Early

Childhood Center at LPGE Elementary School. We play,

move, sing, eat, and meet with other families of young

children. We have different age classes to meet the needs

of your family.

sessions are available to children 3-5 years old and their

families. This group will meet once per month on Tuesdays

nights September - May. Each event is free but we ask that

4-H is launching the 2019 National Youth Science Day

(NYSD) challenge, “Game Changers”. Designed by

Google and West Virginia Extension Service. Game

Changers teaches kids ages 8-14 how to use computer

science (CS) to create games, solve problems and engage

with topics they’re passionate about.

Game Changers uses physical activity and puzzles to teach

kids important CS concepts and problem-solving skills,

creating real-world connections between computer science

and civic engagement, healthy living and agriculture. This

hands-on CS activities in Game Changers teaches kids

essential life skills like problem-solving, teamwork and

resilience, which will help prepare them for college and

career.

This comprehensive parenting program helps parents and

grandparents of kids ages 5-12 raise responsible,

cooperative children who are able to resist negative peer

pressure and thrive. Led by a certified parenting educator,

this course includes video, online discussion, and a parent

guide that you can keep. Participants need a computer with

sound, internet access, and one of the following browsers:

Internet Explorer, Edge, Firefox, Safari or Chrome. This is

a pilot program so participants will be asked to fill out a

pre and post survey in regards to the class and will meet on

fragrances as you become aware of their contents, you are

in luck. Welcome to the world of pure aromatics, where you

will create your own perfume with nature’s ingredients.

Perfumes are important to our sensory experiences and

memories, by using homemade perfumes we can preserve

our past, while safely protecting our environment and

Participants will learn to recognize and respond to the

signals of heart attack, cardiac arrest and stroke as well as

other medical emergencies for adults, children and infants

including obstructed airway (choking), allergic reactions

and drowning. Basic first aid training will also be offered.

Participants will receive certifications upon completion.

CPR class $60. CPR + Basic first aid $80.

This Broadway success concerns the

adventures of a Jewish widow and an

Irish widow whose respective daughters

move them into a shared retirement

condominium in Las Vegas. They think

life has passed them by, until they both fall for a charming

swindler! Take a comfortable charter bus ride to

Bloomington for a yummy lunch and a funny show. Perfect

for any age! We will load the charter bus on the East side

of the elementary school from 9:15-9:30 am. A buffet lunch

will be served at 12:15 including Champagne Chicken,

Roasted Pork Loin, Country Sausage with Sauerkraut,

sides, and salad bar. The show is from 1:15-3:20 pm and

we will return to the school around 6:00 pm. Cost includes

bus ride, lunch, and theatre ticket.

Driver Improvement Program is open to the public,

however, pre-registration is required. Persons age 55 and

older who complete the course qualify for a 10% discount

on their auto insurance premiums for three years, according

to Minnesota law. As of January 1, 1995, individuals who

have previously taken an eight-hour accident prevention

course can maintain their eligibility for the insurance

discount by taking a four-hour refresher course. These

repeat students have the option of attending only a refresher

session.

also discuss prepping your lawn for the cold winter months

ahead, so in the spring you have a yard that is the envy of

Pickleball is one of the fastest growing sports in the United

States as it can be played by any age with any level of skill.

Pickleball is a paddle sport that combines elements of ten-

nis, badminton, and ping-pong using a paddle and plastic

ball with holes. If you are interested in learning more about
