Lenten Evening of Recollection for Men: 7.00-9.00pm, Wednesday 14 th March at St John’s Church, Standishgate. Meditations, Exposition of the Blessed Sacrament, Confession and Benediction. Refreshments afterwards. NUGENT CARE: Second Collection this weekend , 11 th March. The appeal this year “In Your Name” focuses on the core Caritas projects serving children and adults with learning disabilities and children who can no longer live at home and are in the care of Nugent. These services receive little or no statutory funding and are entirely reliant on the good will and generosity of our supporters. DEMENTIA PRAYER WEEK 12 th -19 th March : Cardinal Heenan House, Upholland - dementia fundraising event this year for the Pastoral Care Project will be Sunday 18 th March, starting 2.00pm with the rosary and concluding 5pm. Activities include dementia reading; singing, drawing and art They are encouraging young people to visit and get involved. CAFOD NEWS: We have just received Christmas cards from the children in

Brazil which St Aidan's have been supporting through Cafod for a number of

years. They have been added to our Children's Liturgy Lenten display. Please

take time to have a Lenten Reflection (St Aidan's) look at them and thank you

again for your generosity.

U.C.M: The ladies of the Union of Catholic Mothers (UCM) thank all those

who helped in the preparation and celebration of their bi monthly mass and

those who assisted in providing refreshments
