In 2006, Michael and Patricia West purchased 77 acres and opened their tasting room in 2009. Joined in 2019 by Leslie Messick and Paul Baumbach the vineyards are located on Macedonia Road in East Bend in the Yadkin Valley Appellation, with views of Pilot Mountain from various points on the property. The tasting room is located in a rustic farmhouse, with views of llamas and vineyard from the rocking chair porch and the front yard deck and pavilion.

Flint Hill, a designated Century Family Farm, has lovingly restored the 1800’s farmhouse that sits nestled among century old oak trees and serves as their tasting room. The Myers family were original se� lers of the Yadkin Valley arriving in 1773 with a land grant from the Queen of England. Laurel Gray is family owned by Ben and Kim Myers, and nestled in the heart of the Yadkin Valley on the Swan Creek wine trail. Visit the tasting room and gi� shop, located in a 75-year-old milking parlor, and relax on the porch, patio, or by the spring-fed pond. Tours of the vineyard are available, and don’t miss the roses and other beautiful gardens surrounding the tasting room. Additionally, Laurel Gray Vineyards was the recipient of the 2009 North Carolina Winegrowers Award of Excellence. In 2013 Laurel Gray Estate Reserve Merlot was awarded the Governor’s Cup Best for Best of Show at the NC State wine competition and in 2016 their Shiloh (Cabernet Franc) won Best Red Wine in NC.

Windsor Run is a family owned vineyard which sits on 13 acres in the Swan Creek AVA of the Yadkin Valley. The tasting room can accommodate many tasters in an enjoyable and warm se� ing. The winery, which is adjacent to the tasting room, has the ability to off er tastings for larger groups. The winery also houses a legal moonshine still. From this still Windsor Run currently makes fi ve fortifi ed wines which they sell in the tasting room along with their wines and meads. The distillery is also open for a tour and tasting.
